Austin Aries has been competing regularly on Raw and 205 Live for the past couple of months after being cleared to return to action following a nasty eye injury, but from the sounds of things he has a few other nagging issue that may require some more time off to fully recover from.

The "greatest man that ever lived" was a guest on Busted Open Radio, and revealed that he's going to be taking "a little break" after coming up short in his Extreme Rules Cruiserweight Championship match against Neville.

“I’ve got some stuff going on, but just to be fair you could probably say that for a lot of the locker room. It’s kind of part of what we do, I don’t think anyone is ever 100%. So I got a couple things going on and obviously at this point it might be a good time to take a little break which really could consist of two days to just adjust some of those things, try and get my mind and my body right and then come back and figure out what’s gonna be next and what the direction’s gonna be.”

It doesn't sound like it's going to be for an extended period of time, but the already struggling Cruiserweight Division is definitely going to miss this characteristic and incredibly talented Superstar.

Maybe when Aries return he can challenge Neville for the 347th time and finally win the title?
