Nikki Cross Debuted Her New Mighty Molly-Inspired Gimmick During Last Night's Episode Of RAW

We've been wondering what WWE has planned for Nikki Cross for a while now, but none of us could have predicted that she would debut with a Mighty Molly-inspired gimmick during last night's episode of RAW...

As part of SAnitY, Nikki Cross was a force to be reckoned with in NXT, but when that group was moved up to the main roster...well, she was nowhere to be seen. Later, she'd debut as a singles star, but with the same "crazy" personality she had on the developmental brand.

Later, Cross would team up with Alexa Bliss and showed at least a little more personality, but a major change was made to her character during last night's post-Hell in a Cell episode of RAW.

Debuting new music and a new look, Cross has taken on a Mighty Molly-style persona as a superhero character. We're not sure where this is heading, but Cross showed off some impressive moves while teaming up with Bliss to square off with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in one of the Money in the Bank qualifying matches that took place on the show.

Whether Cross can get over with this gimmick is hard to say, and it's definitely going to be interesting seeing how fans respond to her when they start returning to shows next month.

Check out her new superhero persona below:
