Roman Reigns Reportedly Out Of Universal Title Match With Goldberg At WRESTLEMANIA

We figured something like this might happen, and now we appear to have confirmation that Roman Reigns has decided to remove himself from his Universal Championship match with Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania.

Bad news for fans of the Big Dog, because it looks like Roman Reigns is out of WrestleMania.

Reigns was scheduled to take on Goldberg for the Universal Championship on the grandest stage of them all, but Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that he "didn’t feel comfortable doing anymore of the Performance Center shows during the coronavirus pandemic because he’s immunocompromised from his battle with leukemia and didn’t want to risk his health."

This is perfectly understandable, and something we figured might happen if the pandemic worsened (The U.S. now has more confirmed cases than China).

Who will replace Roman? Well, there's currently speculation that it might actually be Braun Strowman. Hit and miss Twitter account Wrestle Votes certainly believes it'll be the Monster Among Men vs. Goldberg, but we'll just have to wait and see.
