Roman Reigns Will Compete For A Title At NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS...But He WON'T Be Defending His Championship!

There continues to be tension within The Bloodline, and more drama played out during last night's episode of SmackDown

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns came to the ring with Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa, and The Usos, and made it clear Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are no longer the faction's biggest problem. Instead, he blames Jimmy and Jey for losing Tag Team titles and then failing to regain them, despite dedicating their rematch to their Tribal Chief.

Reigns said his cousins embarrassed him and demanded an apology from the duo; Roman then shoved Jimmy in the face, prompting him to stand up to the Head of the Table. Jey intervened, though, and apologised for them both in an effort to keep the peace. He also promises to win back the titles.

This wasn't enough for Reigns, though, and Heyman confirmed that Reigns and Sikoa will be the ones who challenge Zayn and Owens at Night of Champions for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships.

If Reigns wins, then he's going to be draped in even more gold!

Adding insult to injury was the fact Reigns dedicated his and Sikoa's upcoming victory to the greatest tag team in history: his uncles Afa and Sika of The Wild Samoans.

I could honestly see this going either way, though I'm not sure having Roman carry 4 belts is a productive outcome. With either Reigns becoming harsher on the Usos if he wins or the Usos standing up to him more if he loses or if he needs their interference to win.
