Scarlett made a name for herself on the independent scene before joining real-life husband Karrion Kross in WWE. While she's occasionally wrestled for the company, Scarlett's last match was actually way back in June 2023.
While she's fantastic in a managerial role, it's a shame in many ways that we haven't seen what Scarlett can do as part of the women's division. During a recent interview, she confirmed that she remains open to competing but would like to do so in an intergender match.
"I'm always open to it. I train, I'm always ready," Scarlett teased. "I love managing. Managing has always been my favorite thing to do, but I do like wrestling when it means something and there's a good story. The dream would be to have the first intergender match."
"Will that happen? I don't know, but that's what I was known for on the indies before. Having a singles match against Dom Mysterio, that would be amazing," she added, also mentioning Lyra Valkyria's Women's Intercontinental Championship as a potential future goal.
"My focus right now is definitely making sure that Karrion Kross becomes the next WWE Champion," Scarlett noted. "That is one hundred per cent my focus right now. We can do both at the same time, though, absolutely, but my focus right now is making sure Kross gets the title he deserves."
During a separate interview, Kross recently reflected on making his initial main roster debut with Scarlett by his side. It was reported at the time that Vince McMahon had pushed her into competing in an impromptu dark match, resulting in her being injured; without naming the billionaire, Kross confirmed that was the case.
"Someone who’s no longer with the company had asked her to get in the ring and move around on like a dark match. When we were still in lockdowns, you know, we were doing shows where nobody was there," Kross explained. "She got in the ring relatively quickly and wound up getting injured. And so she was in post-recovery of that."
"We were just kind of under an assumption that we were going to be grouped back together. And then we were told we weren’t. That time was all very weird," he said, once again alluding to McMahon. "But I will say those people I was dealing with at the time, just to reiterate it, they’re not with the company anymore."
