The Dangerous Alliance is…dangerous.
Last week, Seth Rollins carried out his mission statement and poor Sami Zayn was caught in the crossfire. The former Intercontinental Champion was tempted by an intriguing promise by Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins, but Zayn said that his moral code will not be compromised.
Unfortunately for Zayn, he was left for dead by Rollins and Bron Breakker. But that was just the beginning. Rollins, Breakker, and Heyman return tonight on the go-home show of Backlash to stir the pot once again and establish their dominance on the RAW brand.
Jey Uso has found his first challenger - Logan Paul. The arrogant WWE star confronted the newly crowned WWE World Heavyweight Champion and got a superkick for his troubles. However, the former United States Champion got his revenge by knocking Jey Uso out cold backstage. Paul is coming off a huge win over former WWE Champion AJ Styles at WrestleMania. With his momentum riding high, can the “popular” Youtube star get the last laugh on tonight’s show?
The Redeemer is back to save the poor souls in the WWE. Several weeks ago, Rusev shocked the WWE universe by attacking Alpha Academy and leaving them lying on the mat. Rusev has made it clear that he’s here to destroy the arrogant fools like Otis who waste their talents. Will the former United States Champion be successful in his mission by taking out the Alpha Academy member?
Also, the WWE World Women’s Champion hasn’t had much time to celebrate her huge WrestleMania win over Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley because of Roxanne Perez and Giulia. But Iyo Sky may be able to get a measure of revenge on the former NXT Women’s Champion as she’ll take on Perez in a highly anticipated non-title match on RAW.
