We’re finally on the road to WrestleMania.
The wrestling world is still reeling from the shocking events that took place in the final moments of Elimination Chamber. John Cena’s heart has gone black as the former WWE Champion aligned himself with The Rock.
But something else big happened in Toronto. Bianca Belair was able to overcome the traumatic events of witnessing her partner being destroyed by the returning Jade Cargill and is now the next challenger for the Women’s World Championship. Belair accomplished a huge feat by being the first woman to win two Elimination Chamber matches. And being a former WWE Women’s Champion herself, Belair knows how to step up when the time calls for it.
However, who will be the champion going in: Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky? The last time these two fought one another was in NXT and Sky emerged victorious. But that was five years ago and both ladies have changed as performers. Who will go on to WrestleMania as the WWE Women’s World Champion?
Ivy Nile is determined to become the next Women’s Intercontinental Champion. After failing to beat Dakota Kai, Nile made her presence known last week by viciously attacking both Kai and Lyra Valkyria. Chad Gable made his mission statement simple to both Nile and The Creeds: win the IC and Tag Team belts. Nile will get the opportunity to do just that tonight.
The Creeds will also get the chance to dethrone the newly crowned WWE Tag Team Champions in what should be one hell of a tag team bout.
Also, Seth Rollins is the reason that CM Punk isn't challenging for the Undisputed Championship. Despite CM Punk beating Rollins two months ago, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion has done everything in his power to make Punk's life a living hell. What will Punk's response be on tonight's show?
