Can the New Day beat the Judgment Day?
Fresh off Night of Champions, another set of title holders will put their belts on the line as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods will defend the WWE World Tag Team titles against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
Finn and JD are no strangers to being tag team champs. And with Dominik winning the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania and Raquel & Liv (at least for now) being the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Judgment Day's luck seems to be turning around. But there's a reason that the New Day has held these belts more than five times as Kingston and Woods are experts at their craft.
With their new attitudes, The New Day's matches are more vicious and violent, something that Judgment Day relishes in. Can Finn and JD regain their mojo by becoming the new world tag team champions?
Evolution II is coming in two weeks. Former WWE World Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is coming off a hard fought battle against Raquel Rodriguez at Night of Champions. With Rhea regaining some serious momentum after she lost at WrestleMania, what does the RAW star have planned going forward? We’ll find out as Rhea will open tonight’s special show.
Also, Sheamus and Rusev have been heading into a war path for quite some time now. The former US Champions will finally clash in what should be an awesome hoss fight between the two veterans. Who will be the last man standing in this hard-hitting battle?
Expect the focus to be on Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution II on tonight’s RAW. Check out the advertised matches below on the special edition of RAW that’s scheduled for 5CT/6ET (3PT for West Coast).
