Will Oba Femi finally lose the NXT Championship?
Oba Femi has successfully reigned as the NXT Champion for 229 days. He’s beaten Austin Theory, Moose, Myles Borne, and even his Heatwave challenger, Je’Von Evans. But that was in a Triple Threat match as this will be the first one-on-one encounter between the two for the NXT Championship.
While Oba was dominating the developmental brand, Evans was going through an evolution that helped get him to this point. Evans has yet to win any title in NXT, but his feud against Ethan Page showed that he can hang with the big boys. Will Je’Von Evans finally put an end to Oba Femi’s title run? Or will Femi shut him down for good?
For the first time on NXT pay-per-view, Jacy Jayne will defend the TNA Knockouts Championship against Ash By Elegance and Masha Slamovich. The latter has been dying to get her hands on Jayne since she was beaten for the title at Slammiversary. However, the double champ has used Fatal Influence to her advantage at key moments. But that won’t work on Ash, who has an entire brand that can combat Fatal Influence. For the first time in Jacy’s run, things will be quite even for the double champ and there’s a real danger of her losing the TNA Knockouts title. Can Jayne continue to prove the haters wrong and retain the TNA title? Or will Ash or Masha make her run very short?
Jordynne Grace is coming for revenge. The former TNA Knockouts Champion is furious that Blake Monroe ruined her latest opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship and she plans on beating the holy crap out of the former AEW Women’s World Champion. But there’s more to Blake Monroe than just her looks. The NXT newcomer is a cunning vixen who could crack your skull if you’re not careful. Grace comes in with the power advantage, but Monroe’s ring IQ is pretty high. Will Grace get her revenge on tonight’s episode? Or will Monroe prove why she’s one of the best wrestlers in the world?
