Two big championship matches headline the go-home show for Clash in Paris.
Sami Zayn could walk out as the new U.S. Champion. Sami did the unthinkable at WrestleMania 40 by beating Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship. Solo Sikoa may not be Gunther, but you don’t need to be when you have numbers on your side. Solo and his faction have been a major problem for numerous stars in the past couple of months. Though Sami does own a win over Solo Sikoa, the arrogant and crafty champion will be sure to not make the same mistakes that he did before. Will Sami Zayn walk out of France at the new U.S. Champion? Or will Solo prove that he isn’t a transitional one?
For the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair will defend their belts against the Secret Hervice. Piper Niven dropped jaws last week by getting a win over the former multi-time women’s champion Charlotte. But that was a singles match. Though Piper and Alba Fyre have been a team longer than Bliss and Flair, the duo have struggled to stand out of Chelsea’s shadow. They can certainly do that tonight, especially against the best frenemies Bliss and Flair. Will the reigning tag champs prove that their odd ball pair is the secret to their winning streak? Or will Fyre and Niven finally become the tag team champs?
Also, John Cena tore down former United States Champion Logan Paul. The former Undisputed Champion feels that the WWE star is a waste of his time and quickly proved that with an Attitude Adjustment, but Paul is like a cockroach. He came back at the end of the night and knocked Cena out cold. With these two finally colliding in less than three days, what will be the final words from both Logan and John?
