WWE Monday Night Raw returns to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida on May 26, 2025, with a card that picks up on some lingering threads. Admittedly, it isn't an amazing lineup just yet, as there are a lot of unknowns yet to be clarified.
For example, we know this episode will feature the fallout from both WWE Saturday Night's Main Event and WWE NXT Battleground (if that factors in at all), but obviously, WWE isn't spoiling any of those results. That means feuds like CM Punk and Sami Zayn versus Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are up in the air until whatever happens on that special. The same goes for Jey Uso and Logan Paul, but it's natural we can expect Gunther to be involved in something as in three weeks, he has a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
Another unknown is what will happen with the Money in the Bank qualifying matches. All WWE has stated is that there will be more qualifiers, but nobody has been announced for any of those matches. Given how they've been going down, we can assume there will be two Triple Threat bouts, and that they will likely feature the men's division, who haven't had any spots earned yet. Chad Gable is expected to be one of those competitors vying for a spot, as he spoke to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce today. Granted, he was also looking for a spot for Ivy Nile, and there's still one more women's division qualifier to take place, too that must happen either next week or the week after.
One of the matches officially added to the lineup is Akira Tozawa versus Rusev. Tozawa had asked for this bout during last week's Raw, but General Manager Adam Pearce initially denied the request, citing Tozawa's lack of medical clearance. Now that Tozawa has been cleared by WWE’s medical staff, Pearce has given the green light and scheduled the match for this coming Monday.
Another match that was previously teased, but delayed, is a Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championship. The New Day will put their titles on the line against two formidable teams—The War Raiders and The Creed Brothers.
To recap, here is at least what has been currently announced for next week's Raw episode:
- Money in the Bank qualifying matches (participants to be announced)
- Akira Tozawa vs. Rusev
- Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. American Made's Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed & Julius Creed) vs. The War Raiders (Erik & Ivar)
