It's time for Worlds Collide 2025! This special event (not quite a "premium live event" or "pay-per-view" by traditional means) is presented by WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide is taking place Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.
While the fourth Worlds Collide event under WWE, this event is not under the same concept as the previous ones that featured a gimmick of NXT against NXT UK and other brands within World Wrestling Entertainment. Instead, this is a crossover show with AAA (Asistencia, Asesoría y Administración de Espectáculos) after it was announced the promotion had been acquired by WWE (TKO) during the Countdown to WrestleMania 41 Saturday pre-show. It is building less on the history of WWE's Worlds Collide shows and more on the original AAA When Worlds Collide pay-per-view which took place on November 6, 1994.
This event will deviate from traditional WWE broadcast methods. Instead of airing on Peacock in the United States and Netflix elsewhere, it will be on WWE's YouTube channel in the video here starting at 3 p.m. ET in both English and Spanish.
This post here will be updated frequently throughout the show to reflect live coverage of the WWE Worlds Collide event, including all the match results, rundowns of the promos, and any other interesting or noteworthy things that take place. Keep refreshing for updates to find out all the winners and more!
Preview & Predictions for WWE x AAA Worlds Collide 2025:
On tap for today's event, Chad Gable challenges El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship. Since this isn't the very well protected El Grande Americano gimmick, and Vikingo just won this title from Alberto Del Rio on May 31st, it's extremely unlikely Gable walks out with the promotion's top title.
The NXT North American Championship will also be on the line as Ethan Page defends against Je'Von Evans, Rey Fenix, and Laredo Kid. The only viable options here are Page retaining or Evans winning the belt, if they wanted a surprise title change. But when there's more of a story for Page to suffer some payback from Ricky Saints once he's back from his kayfabe injury, and "Super" Sean Legacy is scheduled to face the winner of this match, Page retaining is the safer bet.
There are two six-man tag team matches taking place—one with Legado del Fantasma against El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown, and the other with Latino World Order's Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro teaming with Lince Dorado (who is replacing Joaquin Wilde after he suffered an injury during a WWE Speed match taping) against Octagon Jr, Aero Star, and Mr. Iguana. Flip a coin on those two, but LWO and Dorado losing to give some AAA guys a win and Legado winning to boost Angel and Berto ahead of their scheduled Triplemania tag title match would make sense.
Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice will also face Chik Tormenta and Dalys. Given how much success Vaquer has had so far in 2025, it's hard to bet against her being victorious.
Supposedly, we should expect some guest appearances from Dominik Mysterio, Rey Mysterio, Savio Vega, and possibly more as well.
Here are your results for WWE / AAA Worlds Collide 2025:
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: Aero Star, Mr. Iguana and Octagón Jr. defeated Latino World Order (Dragon Lee and Cruz Del Toro) and Lince Dorado by pinfall. After the match, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan, who were watching the match ringside, grabbed a microphone and Dom called Rey Mysterio a deadbeat. Octagon got upset over this, dragged Dom into the ring, and they brawled for a bit. Dom then challenged Octagon to a match at Money in the Bank, where the Intercontinental Championship will be on the line.
- Tag Team Match: Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice defeated Chik Tormenta and Dalys by pinfall.
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: Legado Del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, and Berto) defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown by pinfall (Escobar over Wagner)
- Fatal 4-Way Match for the NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) retained over Je'Von Evans, Laredo Kid and Rey Fénix by pinfall
- Singles Match for the AAA Mega Championship: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) retained over Chad Gable by pinfall.
