RAW aired on Netflix a little earlier than normal today, with Seth Rollins hitting the ring alongside The Vision—Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed—to celebrate his win over Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel on Sunday.
The World Heavyweight Champion praised Heyman, Breakker, and Reed before declaring himself the greatest champion of all time. Pointing out that Roman Reigns needed The Shield and The Bloodline, and that Cody Rhodes needed his help to finish his story, Rollins said that he doesn't need anyone.
That includes Reed, Breakker, and Heyman, and Rollins claimed that everything he's achieved since WrestleMania is all down to him. Apparently, he doesn't even need the men in the ring with him; he chose them, and they chose him as their Visionary.
Rollins' words came back to haunt him later in the night when CM Punk beat Jey Uso in the main event to become the #1 contender for Rollins' World Heavyweight title.
The Vision laid waste to the Second City Saint, and stood tall alongside Rollins to end the show...or so it seemed. Instead, Breakker speared Rollins, leading to Reed hitting their leader with a 747 Splash.
A terrified Heyman watched on, but when Breakker went over and pulled him up, words were exchanged, and as Bron grabbed the title, the WWE Hall of Famer raised their arms as they stood tall above the fallen Rollins.
Yes, Heyman has already turned on Rollins in a segment that suggests WWE has finally pulled the trigger on a Breakker/Heyman partnership that should establish the former NXT star as a main event talent in the company.
Was Rollins' partnership with Heyman a let-down? It certainly gave us a shocking WrestleMania moment, but fans have grown tired of The Vision running rampant on every show since then. As for who the babyfaces and heels are, that remains to be seen.
