WWE EVOLVE Succession Announced - First Special Event Coming Soon

WWE EVOLVE will have its first special episode that will function much like a pay-per-view. Find out what was announced for WWE EVOLVE Succession coming in October!

Starting off tonight's episode of WWE EVOLVE was a special announcement from Prime Minister Stevie Turner, who not only hyped up a tag team match for later (Chase U versus Swipe Right) but said that in three weeks on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, there will be a special edition of the show dubbed WWE EVOLVE Succession.

This show will effectively act like a pay-per-view, but is still going to air for free on Tubi—just like the recent NXT Homecoming special.

She also announced that both the men's and women's EVOLVE Championships would be on the line. Here is what transpired for the rest of the episode and what was set up for that special:

  • Kendal Grey cut a promo in the ring about how she beat Wendy Choo in their I Quit Match and that she now wants to be the person challenging Kali Armstrong for the WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship. Kali Armstrong came out to show some respect for Grey's accomplishments, but said she isn't Wendy Choo, and if they fight for the title, she's going to beat her. Chantel Monroe took offense to the idea that Grey could be the No. 1 contender over her. Stevie Turner then came out and before she could speak, Armstrong was assuming that she would announce a Triple Threat match and requested that this be a singles bout for this special event so it is done properly. Turner actually agreed and booked Grey vs. Monroe to determine who would face Armstrong.
  • Turner then had a backstage segment after the commercial break with The Vanity Project, revealing that Jackson Drake's No. 1 contender would be determined in a match between Keanu Carver and Brooks Jensen next week. Later, Carver would have a video promo about how he'd win both of those two matches.
  • The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) defeated Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors) by pinfall. Following the match, Jackson Drake cut a promo to praise Swipe Right for their win and throw some jabs at Bryce Donovan for fumbling the bag, reminding him that he's The Fixer and he should take care of Drake's problems.
  • Harley Riggins and Jax Presley are down to accept a rematch against Adrenaline Drip in a locker room segment.
  • Also backstage, Chuey Martinez asked some predictions for the Kendal Grey vs. Chantel Monroe match to Layla Diggs and Masyn Holiday, and then Nikkita Lyons (who just complained that she should have a one-on-one match with Armstrong instead). He then asked Wendy Choo, who said "This is gonna be harder than I thought."
  • Stevie Turner told It's Gal that Jamar Hampton has cracked his hip bone and will be out indefinitely. It's Gal said that's what Hampton gets for trying to keep up at the gym with himself. Then, Ridge Holland stormed in to complain to Turner that he should be fighting for the EVOLVE Championship instead of Carver and Jensen. Tate Wilder stood up to Holland about speaking the way he did to her, but admitted that he isn't yet ready for a rematch with Holland.
  • Kendal Grey defeated Chantel Monroe by submission. After the match, Armstrong came out to applaud her and show that she was watching the match and scoping out her competition.
