History was made on tonight's episode of WWE EVOLVE (March 18, 2026) with a new top champion crowned as Aaron Rourke defeated Jackson Drake to win the men's WWE EVOLVE Championship.
Here is your breakdown of this show's results.
Jackson Drake Loses WWE EVOLVE Championship to Aaron Rourke
Jumping straight to the main event and the lead story, Aaron Rourke won the title from Jackson Drake in the main event. This is naturally the first title win for Rourke within WWE after signing to the WWE ID program in November 2024.
After the match, Rourke was embraced by some babyface members of the roster to celebrate. There was a moment where he dropped the title and it was picked up by Mike Cunningham, who took a moment to look it over before handing it back to Rourke, teasing a potential feud in the future.
Upcoming Notes from WWE EVOLVE Foreman Timothy Thatcher
The new general manager of the brand (or as he refers to himself, the Foreman of EVOLVE), Timothy Thatcher, had a segment within his office about how he's going to hold off on addressing the vacated WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship (which Kendal Grey retained and relinquished last week) until next week's show. But in two weeks, there will also be a special of some sort (as yet unnamed, if they're going to make it anything like Succession or just claim it's special without branding it) which will feature some new talents from Europe as well as more WWE ID prospects. It's Gal interrupted to try to get Thatcher to give him some more screen time, so Thatcher booked him to be one of the wrestlers for that show, but nothing was formally announced.
