There's been a lot of uncertainty surrounding this year's WrestleMania card, not least within WWE itself. At one point, it looked like we'd be getting Drew McIntyre vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu for the Undisputed WWE Championship, but injuries have prompted some major changes.
We've heard about scrapped plans for a Hell in a Cell match at the Show of Shows, with Roman Reigns vs. Rhodes III once considered for the popular, no longer overused, stipulation. Bron Breakker's injury saw WWE forced to pivot to Reigns vs. World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, but the company isn't giving up on the idea.
During last Friday's SmackDown, McIntyre and Fatu brawled for almost the entire show. Eventually, they fell from a guardrail outside the arena, with the feud now completely out of control.
Well, according to the latest update on plans for their rumoured WrestleMania match, they'll square off inside Hell in a Cell...
This isn't hugely surprising, and it only serves to make this even more of a must-see clash when the Show of Shows returns to Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19.
Here's how the rest of the WrestleMania card is currently shaping up:
Undisputed WWE Championship Match
Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton
World Heavyweight Championship Match
CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns
WWE Women’s Championship Match
Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
Women’s World Championship Match
Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match
AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch
Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre
While not confirmed, we're also expecting WWE to add Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker and a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match featuring The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) defending against Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, The Bella Twins, and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.
