Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for today's episode, nothing has been advertised yet. Absolutely nothing. WWE is very much still in their mentality of just letting the hype of WrestleMania carry the television shows, just as they've done in the recent Raw and SmackDown episodes leading into this past weekend's events, but even more so. Quite literally not a single thing has been announced in the afternoon, meaning they're either still writing the show and don't want to commit to anything yet without figuring out some plans, or WWE thinks it ultimately doesn't matter what they advertise ahead of 8pm because the fans are going to watch regardless.
Expect a lot of this show to be recap. Gone are the days where "the Raw after WrestleMania" was an event in and of itself with lots of people making their new debuts, rivalries starting, big returns popping up and so on. That could certainly still happen, but it hasn't been the case for the past few years under TKO (and even under Vince McMahon). They tend to spread things out more.
I'm anticipating at least half, if not more, of this episode will be dedicated to just video packages and promos reminding audiences what happened at WrestleMania, such as Roman Reigns coming out to address that he defeated CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship (as well as probably talking about Oba Femi, who called him out during the post-show), Liv Morgan gloating about beating Stephanie Vaquer to win the Women's World Championship, Becky Lynch doing the same thing about winning the Women's Intercontinental Championship back from AJ Lee, Penta retaining the Intercontinental Championship will be the most likely option to lead into some kind of match, and so on.
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw - April 20, 2026:
- Oba Femi came out to say The Ruler has arrived.
- RHIYO (Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky) defeated The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) by pinfall.
- Backstage, Adam Pearce was talking to Penta when Je'Von Evans came over to also congratulate Penta on his win, but to remind him that he's still going after that belt. Ethan Page is apparently on the Raw roster now, too, and after he came over as well to say he's interested in that title, he and Evans are booked for later.
- CM Punk cut a promo about his recent losses over the past few months, including losing the title last night at WrestleMania. He also spoke about the good things that have come his way with the title reign and being there every week to heal with the fans and whatnot, ultimately saying that he'll stay ready for the next opportunity. Cody Rhodes then came out, interrupting, to have another friendly chat, but it ended with Punk eyeing the title and Rhodes saying "Just say when."
- Ethan Page defeated Je'Von Evans by pinfall with some help from an interfering Rusev. Penta went after Rusev to make the save after the match until Page pulled him off the ropes. Rusev locked in the Accolade on the champion to end the segment.
- Liv Morgan defeated Sol Ruca by pinfall with some help from The Judgment Day and Zaria interfering.
- The Vision came out for a promo. Paul Heyman started it by honoring Brock Lesnar. Logan Paul then complained about IShowSpeed. Heyman thanked Gunther and said he will repay his favor whenever Gunther wants. Bron Breakker then came out to gloat about costing Seth Rollins his match. Rollins went on the attack and was backed up by The Street Profits, who fought with Austin Theory and Logan Paul into the back as Breakker ultimately got the better of Rollins in the ring.
- Finn Balor defeated JD McDonagh by pinfall.
- LA Knight interrupted Gunther's backstage segment as they're both looking out for the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Rhea Ripley has been traded over to SmackDown, so she said her goodbyes to Iyo Sky and then bumped into Liv Morgan for a brief moment to touch on their rivalry.
- Roman Reigns ended the night reuniting with The Usos and then being challenged for Backlash by Jacob Fatu.
