Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for tonight's episode, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce won't be there to hold down the fort. Instead, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis will be stepping in. However, Pearce announced on social media some of the lineup, mostly revolving around promos. This is to be expected, as WWE is starting a new season of storylines following WrestleMania 41.
Logan Paul is set to make an appearance. His feud with AJ Styles will either continue, or he'll just be there to move on to someone else while Styles has his issues with Karrion Kross.
Pat McAfee is going to talk about how Gunther went after himself and Michael Cole last week, leading to The Ring General's suspension.
Becky Lynch will cut a promo about her heel turn and explain why she attacked Lyra Valkyria after they lost the Women's Tag Team Championship last week.
Lastly on the promo side of the announcements, we'll hear from Paul Heyman's faction of Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Hopefully, we'll get a team name, and there's always a chance someone new is recruited to this new Dangerous Alliance or whatever they call themselves.
The one and only match announced in advance is Rhea Ripley against Roxanne Perez. This came about as a result of Perez and Giulia attacking Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer until Ripley made the save. Expect to see all of those parties involved, or at least Giulia, though even if Vaquer isn't in the house, Sky should at least be. This could very well turn into a tag team match with Ripley and Sky against Perez and Giulia either tonight or for it to be set up for next week.
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw April 28, 2025:
- Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman opened the show. Sami Zayn interrupted and called Rollins out on his hypocrisy, aligning with Heyman after being so anti Roman Reigns and CM Punk, with Heyman being their one thing they have in common. Rollins "offered" to have Zayn moved to SmackDown, as anyone who isn't with them is their enemy, and needs an answer by the end of the night.
- Rhea Ripley defeated Roxanne Perez by disqualification after Giulia attacked Ripley from behind. Iyo Sky made the save.
- At The Judgment Day club house, Finn Balor was curious why JD McDonagh didn't tell him about his return. JD said he told Dominik Mysterio and assumed Dom would relay the information. He then informed Balor that Liv Morgan had booked them in a tag team match against The War Raiders to try to get back into the tag team title hunt.
- Logan Paul cut a promo about how he's going after the World Heavyweight Championship. Jey Uso came out, talked some trash, and superkicked Paul.
- The War Raiders defeated JD McDonagh & Finn Balor by pinfall with a little help from Penta balancing out Carlito's interference.
- In the locker room, Sami Zayn and Otis were talking until Paul Heyman interrupted to try to sweet talk Zayn into accepting their offer.
- Becky Lynch cut a promo about how she attacked Bayley because Bayley's never even apologized for all their drama since 2019. Since Lyra Valkyria is Bayley's friend, that makes her Becky's enemy by default. Valkyria came out, wanting a piece of Becky and denouncing her. They'll face each other for the Women's Intercontinental Championship at Backlash.
- Backstage, Chad Gable (with Ivy Nile) made fun of Penta and Rey Fenix losing at WrestleMania, so Penta struck Gable.
- Rusev had a vignette about how he lost himself and found
- Stephanie Vaquer defeated Ivy Nile by pinfall.
- Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio interrupted AJ Styles talking to Nick Aldis, to request some time off for Morgan to film a movie. Aldis accepted, but when Dom also wanted time off just because he's a champion and he wants it, Aldis rejects that.
- Also backstage, Karrion Kross told Sami Zayn that hopefully, he'll make the correct decision.
- Pat McAfee explained why he stood up for Michael Cole and put out a challenge to fight Gunther. Nick Aldis set up a match between the two for Backlash.
- Jey Uso checked up on Sami Zayn backstage and told him whatever decision he makes, it'll be for the best. Logan Paul then jumped Uso from behind for some payback from earlier.
- Seth Rollins tried to convince Sami Zayn to "take the way out" because if he stays on Raw and doesn't believe in Rollins, bad things will happen to Sami, and he doesn't want that, as he loves him.
- Bron Breakker defeated Sami Zayn by referee stoppage and Rollins put Zayn out for good with a stomp to end the show.
