Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for today's episode, Naomi is set to "address the WWE Universe" in some fashion. Considering she was randomly pulled last week from her scheduled title defense against Iyo Sky for reasons of "not being medically cleared to compete" in some vague way, as well as the rumors of her possible pregnancy swirling around, and the way that WWE always words things like "address the WWE Universe" when people are vacating the title, this is at the very least alluding to the Women's World Championship being vacated, if not outright another example of her relinquishing the title. Maybe we're in for a ruse where they're working us and she'll come out with a salmon jacket on Mark Henry style and pull the wool over our eyes and say she's perfectly healthy and there isn't anything going on. Hopefully, it isn't something bad like a retirement announcement, and if she does have to give up the title, it's for something happy and positive like a pregnancy.
The Vision will also cut a promo. I wouldn't be shocked if they start off the night and we have our typical situation where babyfaces come out and that just tries to set up the Jey Uso versus Bron Breakker match as the main event. Textbook boilerplate WWE writing every week.
Iyo Sky fights Raquel Rodriguez (and likely wins, especially if that ends up being for a spot in a future title match if Naomi vacates the title). Penta beats Xavier Woods unless Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller provide too much of a distraction. Becky Lynch obviously retains her title over Natalya, and I guess the rest is all stuff that we'll find out when it happens!
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw - August 18, 2025:
- The Vision kicked off Raw in typical fashion with a promo segment, though this time with Paul Heyman drawing a lot from ECW since this is in Philly. Jey Uso interrupted and his match against Bron Breakker for later is No DQ now.
- Iyo Sky defeated Raquel Rodriguez by pinfall. Rhea Ripley came out after the match to make the save when Roxanne Perez and Rodriguez double-teamed Sky after the bell. No Kabuki Warriors, for some reason.
- Backstage, CM Punk interrupted LA Knight's interview with Jackie Redmond to try to hash out their issues. Knight reiterated that it isn't personal between them, it's business, and Punk wants everyone to get on the same page prior to when they all fight at Clash in Paris.
- Penta defeated Xavier Woods by pinfall.
- The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) defeated Dragon lee & Mr. Iguana by pinfall. After the match, El Hijo del Vikingo came out and fought with The Judgment Day, but after Dominik Mysterio hit him from behind with the title belt, Vikingo fell victim to a frog splash and the three babyfaces were left looking up at the lights.
- Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) defeated Natalya by submission. Nikki Bella ran out to make the save when Becky continued to go after Natalya and then Maxxine Dupri. Bella took out Lynch with the Rack Attack 2.0.
- Jackie Redmond interviewed Sheamus about his rivalry with Rusev and how things are getting out of hand. Rusev appeared and they started to brawl again. Adam Pearce angrily announced a Good Ol' Fashioned Donnybrook between them at Clash in Paris.
- Naomi came out to the ring, brought on by Adam Pearce, to announce that Naomi is pregnant.
- Extreme Rules Match: Jey Uso defeated Bron Breakker by pinfall. CM Punk, LA Knight, and eventually Roman Reigns all had come out to fight with The Vision during the segment, with The Tribal Chief being the main reason why Uso could score the win.
