Preview & Predictions for WWE Raw:

On tap for tonight's episode, Big Cass makes his return to WWE as Monday Night Raw deals with the fallout from SummerSlam.

At 4:30 p.m. the day of the show, WWE still had not bothered to advertise a single thing. Even the return of Big Cass hasn't been mentioned on WWE's website or social media accounts. This is part of their annoying habit as of late of just not promoting things in advance and coasting on the fact that people will typically watch every week regardless of what is on the show.

Likely, they're also banking on heavily featuring the fallout from SummerSlam. Typical after a premium live event that had as much going on for it as those two shows, expect to see a lot of recap footage, promos that generally just repeat what had happened already (because you have to drill that into the audience 5 times and milk the copy/paste elements as much as possible).

That means something with The Judgment Day talking about Liv Morgan retaining the Women's World Championship over Iyo Sky, celebrating Raquel Rodriguez beating Maxxine Dupri for the intercontinental title last week, lamenting their losses of the human monies against Danhausen, and possibly doing something with Joe Hendry. Maybe Stephanie Vaquer returns?

The Bloodline took a loss to LA Knight, Royce Keys, and Solo Sikoa, so that will be recapped, as well as Oba Femi's Hell in a Cell victory over Brock Lesnar, Chad Gable beating Penta for the men's Intercontinental Championship, and Roman Reigns retaining the World Heavyweight Championship over Seth Rollins.

Glass half full, WWE keeps the momentum going and pushes some new storylines forward. Glass half empty, they spend the bulk of 2 and a half hours just killing time to try to waste a week and only really recap things while giving themselves a stall to not really start anything new until next week.

Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw - August 3, 2026:

  • Roman Reigns celebrated retaining the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam and said they may have finally found peace. LA Knight interrupted, congratulated Reigns for winning without help, but still called him a fraud for using The Bloodline to avoid Knight for months. Knight demanded a one-on-one title match, while Reigns dismissed his accomplishments and told him to get to the back of the line.
  • Je'Von Evans defeated Ethan Page by pinfall with the OG Cutter. Big Cass returned after the match and attacked Evans with a big boot and the East River Crossing. Backstage later on, Cass explained that it took him eight years to return from rock bottom and Evans was simply the first body in his path, but would not be the last.
  • Reigns berated The Usos and Jacob Fatu for losing to LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys at SummerSlam. He rejected the idea that Keys was part of Fatu's family, warned Fatu to trust only The Bloodline, and ordered them not to attack Knight. Knight then appeared, mocked Reigns for protecting him from The Bloodline and taunted Jey Uso.
  • Royce Keys tried to remind Fatu of everything they had experienced together and insisted they were still brothers. Fatu repeated Reigns' assertion that Keys was merely "one of the boys" before challenging him to a Street Fight later in the show.
  • Liv Morgan celebrated retaining the Women's World Championship against Iyo Sky at SummerSlam, declared that she had no remaining challengers and praised new Women's Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez for helping The Judgment Day control Raw.
  • Sol Ruca defeated Roxanne Perez by disqualification when Liv Morgan interfered to stop the Sol Snatcher. Perez and Raquel Rodriguez attacked Ruca afterward until Becky Lynch returned. Lynch said she wasn't interested in Rodriguez's championship as she had already put the Women's Intercontinental Championship on the map and instead, that she's coming for Morgan's title. She pointed out that Morgan has had the worst title reign "of all time" and that it isn't just her saying it. As The Judgment Day retreated, Stephanie Vaquer also returned and attacked them before having a tense face-off with Lynch.
  • After a video retrospective of Brock Lesnar's career, Oba Femi asked Paul Heyman to thank Lesnar for everything he had said about him. Femi then addressed defeating Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell, saying Lesnar's attacks had been a test that he passed and that "The Beast can finally rest." Femi declared that he would carry the torch and lead a new generation before sharing an intense face-off with Bron Breakker.
  • World Tag Team Champion Bron Breakker defeated Joe Hendry by pinfall with a spear. Austin Theory attacked Hendry after the match, but Akira Tozawa made the save. Breakker later confronted Heyman about Femi, sarcastically calling Femi Heyman's "new best friend" when Heyman claimed not to know where he was.
  • New Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable thanked the fans for supporting him throughout his career and praised Penta as a fighting champion and potentially one of wrestling's greatest luchadores. Penta congratulated Gable, called him a true luchador and raised his arm. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh interrupted to ridicule them and claim that The Judgment Day could defeat them at any time, prompting an impromptu tag team match.
  • Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable and Penta defeated AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh by pinfall. Mysterio attempted to conceal the ring bell hammer in his boot, but Gable stopped him. Penta then struck Mysterio with the Intercontinental Championship before Gable delivered Chaos Theory for the victory.
  • Jacob Fatu defeated Royce Keys by referee stoppage in a Street Fight after rendering him unconscious with the Tongan Death Grip. Fatu reapplied the hold after the bell until Keys bled from the mouth, then delivered multiple running hip attacks, including one while a chair was wrapped around Keys' head despite Adam Pearce and other officials trying to intervene. Reigns appeared on the stage, nodded approvingly and raised his finger alongside Fatu.
  • After leaving the stage, Reigns met AAA general manager Rey Mysterio in the Gorilla Position. Mysterio said he wanted to run something by Reigns, and the two walked away together.
