Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for tonight's episode, Lyra Valkyria will put her Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line against Dakota Kai, who earned the title shot by beating Ivy Nile last week. Kai was the runner-up in the tournament to crown the inaugural champion, so Valkyria already has a winning record over her. Curiously, WWE had been building up Nile as the next challenger, just to sideline her for a repeat of Kai instead. Whether that's just to stall and drag out the Nile match for a future date or if there's something afoot remains to be seen, but my prediction is firmly in Valkyria's camp to retain, even if she loses by disqualification through some interference from Nile or some other shenanigans.
The women's tag team titles will also be on the line as Bianca Belair and Naomi defend against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, who they are convinced are the ones behind Jade Cargill's attack several months ago. Naturally, that feels more like a red herring and a misdirect than the actual solution to that mystery, and with Belair and Naomi both set to compete in the Elimination Chamber on Saturday, particularly with Naomi suspiciously a top candidate to have been the one that attacked Cargill and Belair a rumored top pick to win the right to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41, the odds are looking more and more in favor of a title change with Morgan and Rodriguez capturing the tag titles tonight.
The New Day will most likely beat LWO, Penta has the edge over both Ludwig Kaiser and Pete Dunne, and the rest of the show should consist of primarily just generic promos trying to hype up Elimination Chamber.
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw February 24, 2025:
- Logan Paul cut a promo about how he's going to win Elimination Chamber. CM Punk interrupted to do the same. They trashed each other and for some reason, despite being advertised, Seth Rollins didn't appear in this segment at all.
- Triple Threat Match: Ludwig Kaiser defeated Penta and Pete Dunne by pinfall on Dunne
- Rhea Ripley was interviewed by Jackie Redmond about her match next week against Iyo Sky, who showed up to say she's going to win. Standard affair.
- The New Day defeated LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde) by pinfall.
- More in-fighting at the Judgment Day clubhouse, all ending with Liv Morgan telling Finn Balor to help Dominik Mysterio out against Bron Breakker.
- Gunther cut a promo about giving Akira Tozawa a match. Gunther defeated Akira Tozawa by referee stoppage. Gunther continued to go after Tozawa following the match, almost took out Otis as well, but Jey Uso made the save.
- Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: Lyra Valkyria (c) defeated Dakota Kai by pinfall. Ivy Nile attacked them both after the match.
- Bron Breakker defeated Dominik Mysterio by disqualification after interference from Finn Balor and Carlito.
- War Raiders jumped The Creed Brothers from behind while American Made was talking to Cathy Kelley about how they're trying to win gold before Chad Gable comes back.
- Cody Rhodes talked about how he talked to The Rock on SmackDown and how he'll talk to him at Elimination Chamber. (Yikes. WWE does this too much. Between two episodes of SmackDown, Raw, EC and probably the Raw and maybe even SmackDown after, we'll have guaranteed spent over 2 hours of time just talking about what will inevitably be one question and one answer). As Rhodes talked about what The Rock's offer means, he was interrupted by Seth Rollins, who tells Rhodes to not make him regret everything he sacrificed to help Cody win the WWE Championship. Rhodes points out how Rollins doesn't have a clean soul and shouldn't judge him. Rollins wants to win Elimination Chamber and fight the man that he helped win at Mania last year, not someone who's sold his soul.
- TBD - WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Bianca Belair and Naomi (c) vs Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez
