Here are your results for WWE Raw January 20, 2025:
- The show opened with a promo between Jey Uso and Gunther to build further hype for their upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match on Saturday Night's Main Event this weekend. Gunther reiterated his previous points about Uso being more of a clown and a mascot for the WWE Universe, which Jey was happy to point out they'll be by his side when he wins the title. Jey got under Gunther's skin when he said only one of them has main-evented WrestleMania, and it isn't Gunther, so the champion went on the attack.
- Backstage, The New Day bumped into John "Bradshaw" Layfield, trying to pay him off to be on their side for Kofi Kingston's match against Rey Mysterio. JBL ended up just insulting them about how they must have ditched Big E because they couldn't handle him being the most popular and well-liked and talented of the trio.
- Bayley has officially moved over to the Raw roster and will face Nia Jax tonight, who she ran into backstage.
- Rey Mysterio defeated Kofi Kingston by pinfall. Xavier Woods attacked Mysterio after the match until LWO's Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro made the save.
- Backstage, American Made are going to get their act together. Ivy Nile wants the women's IC title, Chad Gable wants to chat with Dominik Mysterio about his luchador problem, and The Creed Brothers want to go after The War Raiders and get the tag titles.
- Sami Zayn declared himself for Royal Rumble entry and cut a passionate promo about how the only thing that separates him from the upper-echelon talents like Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and so on is that they have a world title to their name. Kevin Owens came out to talk about how he knows Zayn can do it and he's rooting for him. He wants them to main event WrestleMania together after Zayn wins the Royal Rumble, and he's hoping Zayn has his back, implying he wants Zayn to help him cheat against Cody Rhodes in their upcoming ladder match.
- Backstage, Bron Breakker told Sheamus that he's never going to win the Intercontinental Championship (as those two will face off at Saturday Night's Main Event)
- Footage was shown of earlier tonight when Nia Jax attacked Rhea Ripley backstage.
- Nia Jax defeated Bayley by pinfall. After the match, Rhea Ripley came out to attack Nia Jax. The two fought as officials tried to separate them, ultimately ending with The Eradicator challenging Nia Jax for a match at Saturday Night's Main Event.
- Chad Gable was in The Judgment Day's clubhouse. Dominik Mysterio gave him the name of someone who can help him with his luchador problem. Finn Balor wasn't there and Liv Morgan pointed out that listening to him hasn't accomplished much as of late. She's still clearly upset at Dom as well.
- Lyra Valkyria wants to be a fighting Women’s Intercontinental Champion as she stated in a video package.
- Seth Rollins told Sami Zayn that he's glad to see him fired-up, and he's almost rooting for him, but since they're both in the Royal Rumble match, he's going to have to throw him over the top rope. Zayn said not if he does it to Rollins first, and wished him good luck tonight against Drew McIntyre.
- Penta defeated Pete Dunne by pinfall.
- A video package hyped Logan Paul, who continues to say that he's going to be the best WWE Superstar ever.
- Jackie Redmond interviewed CM Punk about the Royal Rumble. He plans to settle scores, cash in debts, and even call in a favor or two if he needs to in order to get his hand raised.
- Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai) defeated Pure Fusion Collective's Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler (accompanied by Sonya Deville) by pinfall.
- Seth Rollins defeated Drew McIntyre by pinfall. McIntyre laid out Rollins after the match, furious about this loss. Sami Zayn would come out to help, only to inadvertently hit The Visionary with a Helluva Kick when The Scottish Warrior moved out of the way.
