Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for today's episode, this is the go-home show before the Royal Rumble, so expect to hear quite a few more names being declared for entry spots. I'd imagine a chunk of that will apply to The Vision, who have all been kept out of this so far. However, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce wants to talk to Bron Breakker, seemingly ending that indefinite suspension that was basically only a week off.
AJ Styles does seem to be heading toward his retirement, so if that happens against Gunther at the Royal Rumble, this will be the last opportunity to build up some hype for that and continue telling that story. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if Styles doesn't have some interactions with a guy like Finn Balor to help further along Balor's potential babyface turn, too, as that seems to be pending.
There will also be a Fatal 4-Way to determine who gets the next shot at The Usos at an unspecified date with The New Day, The Creed Brothers, Alpha Academy, and Los Americanos vying for the opportunity. My guess is Alpha Academy gets the random match as some filler, since I could imagine The New Day might be involved with the titles at WrestleMania, but Los Americanos or The Creed Brothers could be equally set up as filler challengers. This is actually a difficult one to pick.
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw - January 26, 2026:
- The show opened with a promo from AJ Styles about how he's going to beat Gunther at the Royal Rumble and finish out the rest of this year with a retirement tour. CM Punk interrupted to say he wants to face Styles, and the two of them set up a title match for the main event out of mutual respect.
- Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, and Iyo Sky defeated The Judgment Day (Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, and Raquel Rodriguez) by pinfall.
- Backstage, Finn Balor thanked CM Punk for their title match and respect from last week. Punk advised that Balor should leave The Judgment Day and not be around jerks like Dominik Mysterio anymore, and that he'll see him in Las Vegas if Balor wins the Royal Rumble.
- The Vision held a promo segment in the ring. Adam Pearce apologized to Bron Breakker, lifted his suspension, and placed him in the Royal Rumble, along with Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory, before booking Theory against Rey Mysterio.
- Austin Theory defeated Rey Mysterio by pinfall. The Vision continued to beat down Mysterio.
- Natalya did the usual thing of saying that she deserves respect and has renewed vigor.
- Backstage, Stephanie Vaquer jumped Raquel Rodriguez.
- Je'Von Evans declared entry for the Royal Rumble.
- Gunther had a sit-down interview with Michael Cole where he gloated about how he'll retire him on Saturday.
- Finn Balor asked Adam Pearce for an entry spot in the Royal Rumble, only to be told that he can't because it's already filled. Liv Morgan is upset that Balor was talking to Punk earlier.
- Fatal 4-Way Match to determine the No. 1 Contenders for a future World Tag Team Championship Title Match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs Los Americanos (Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano) vs Alpha Academy (Akira Tozawa and Otis) vs American Made's Creed Brothers (Brutus Creed and Julius Creed) — Alpha Academy won the title shot.
- Becky Lynch has declared for the Royal Rumble and had a backstage confrontation with The Kabuki Warriors.
- Je'Von Evans wished AJ Styles good luck and pitched for a match between them.
- Stephanie Vaquer wants a fight with Raquel Rodriguez, so Adam Pearce books a Philadelphia Street Fight for next week's Raw.
- Logan Paul led a speech about how The Vision is united in helping Bron Breakker win the Royal Rumble instead of fighting within themselves.
- World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk (c) vs AJ Styles was a no-contest as Finn Balor interfered to attack both.
