Tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw (January 27, 2025) emanates out of the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

This post will be updated frequently throughout the night (for however long the show goes on). As Raw goes on, keep refreshing this post to get the most up-to-date information on all the match winners, breakdowns of the promo segments, and anything else noteworthy or interesting that takes place.

Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:

Until something shows up otherwise, be both on the lookout for an appearance from WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg as well as don't necessarily hold your breath, as being in Atlanta could very well signify his return, but you'd think WWE would have advertised that ahead of time in order to bring in some more viewers.

Logan Paul is set to return, though—likely to address his aspirations of winning the Royal Rumble match as he's yet to be officially declared—and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will also make an appearance to cut a promo.

The War Raiders will also be defending their World Tag Team Championship against the team they beat to win those belts, The Judgment Day. However, instead of it being Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio will swap in and take over Balor's spot in this bid to win back the tag team gold, which in my opinion will end up being unsuccessful.

We should see more storyline advancement in Mysterio's guy who can help Chad Gable with his "luchador problem", I'd expect some fallout from Sami Zayn inadvertently hitting Seth Rollins with a Helluva Kick last week after Drew McIntyre dodged it (as Zayn and McIntyre will face each other tonight), some recap and next steps from Saturday Night's Main Event with Sheamus failing to beat Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship and Jey Uso coming up short against Gunther in the World Heavyweight Championship match, and we might even see who is the first challenger for Lyra Valkyria's Women's Intercontinental Championship. I'd expect more Royal Rumble participants to be confirmed and some segments involving CM Punk, The New Day, and Rhea Ripley as well.

Here are your results for WWE Raw January 27, 2025:

  • Promo: Seth Rollins opened the show with a promo about the Royal Rumble and his aspirations to win it, wondering who he should challenge when he does. The Ring General and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther interrupted to say Rollins isn't the best wrestler on the roster anymore and that he wants Rollins to challenge him if he wins. Logan Paul then interrupted as well to say WWE needs a new face of the Netflix Era (himself, obviously), teasing that he could challenge Gunther or Cody Rhodes. Gunther now wants Logan Paul to win so he can embarrass him at WrestleMania.
  • Backstage, Sami Zayn got in a good verbal shot against CM Punk by pointing out how he's main-evented WrestleMania and Punk hasn't, so Punk is right when he says they aren't on the same level. Karrion Kross then grabbed Sami's attention to tell him to stop thinking with his heart and start thinking with his head, as there's a world of opportunity at his feet. Cody Rhodes then also bumped into Sami, who just said "Good to see ya" and walked off.
  • Tag Team Match for the World Tag Team Championship: The War Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (c) defeated The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh) by pinfall.
  • Backstage, Ludwig Kaiser spoke to Pete Dunne, seemingly striking a new partnership. The New Day came over and Dunne and Kaiser immediately left them. Xavier Woods then hyped up himself as Atlanta's favorite son.
  • Rey Mysterio defeated Xavier Woods by pinfall.
  • Seth Rollins acknowledges that the Helluva Kick from Sami Zayn last week was a mistake, but explained how it comes across like possible evidence that Zayn's partnership with Roman Reigns makes this a calculated thing.
  • Promo: Jey Uso talked about losing to Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event, but he plans on winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Gunther again, as he knows now that he can beat him since he came so close on Saturday.
  • Jackie Redmond interviewed Lyra Valkyria, who announced that she's declaring herself for the Royal Rumble match. American Made interrupted to threaten that Ivy Nile will take the Women's Intercontinental Championship away from Valkyria soon, and also enter the Royal Rumble. Valkyria taunted them that standing next to her is the closest any of them will get to an intercontinental title. Upset, American Made then bullied Alpha Academy, who were filming a TikTok dance video or something.
  • Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez defeated the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Naomi by pinfall with some help from Dirty Dominik Mysterio causing a distraction.
  • Cathy Kelley interviewed Rhea Ripley backstage about her win at Saturday Night's Main Event and how it doesn't matter who wins the Royal Rumble, as whoever challenges her will be brutalized. Bayley interrupted to taunt her that she'll win the match and challenge her, and then, bumped into Iyo Sky, who said "See you Saturday."
  • Paul Heyman unveiled the WWE 2K25 cover, as Roman Reigns is on it. Heyman then cut a promo about how The Tribal Chief is going to win the Royal Rumble match this Saturday. Drew McIntyre interrupted to threaten Heyman, Reigns, and Punk.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall (with his feet on the ropes, but the referee didn't see it). The Scottish Warrior continued to beat down on Zayn after the match until Cody Rhodes ran out to make the save. However, Kevin Owens then came out to attack Rhodes, and during the chaos, Zayn accidentally nailed The American Nightmare with a Helluva Kick, just like what happened to Rollins last week.
  • After the commercial break, Cody Rhodes cut a promo about putting in the work in being the WWE champion. CM Punk interrupted to say as Cody's friend, he wants to know if Cody is okay, since it seems like the pressure of being champion is getting to him. Punk mentioned how when you're on the top of the mountain, there are no friends. Rhodes asked him to cut to the chase. Punk talked a lot, but it boiled down to "as your friend, I'm gonna stab you in the front" with him winning the Royal Rumble and challenging Rhodes at WrestleMania. Cody hit him back with how he's always been chasing Punk, but now, their dynamic has changed, and Punk is chasing Rhodes, and he hopes Punk wins so he can catch up. Punk said there's a graveyard full of careers of people who didn't want him to catch up to them until he did. Rhodes then said he wants to see the look on Punk's face when he sees that "the best in the world" isn't the best in the world anymore, and the show ended with them having a stare off.
