Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for today's episode, all that has been advertised so far is that there will be a gauntlet match to determine who will face Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam, which is just around the corner in two weeks. This pay-per-view schedule of having an event every 2-3 weeks (or in some cases, 3 events in the same weekend like what just passed) is BRUTAL for WWE storytelling, yet even with this rapid fire pace, WWE is still sometimes finding itself dragging stories out. It's strange. But everything is going to have to change after Seth Rollins suffered a knee injury of sorts at Saturday Night's Main Event. There's no telling how much that is going to derail plans, and that isn't even factoring in things like Naomi cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase to win the Raw Women's World Championship despite being a SmackDown star and such.
Obviously, we'll see fallout from Evolution, Saturday Night's Main Event, and NXT Great American Bash play out over this week as WWE scrambles to find some alternative routes to where they were going, completely pivots, or if everything is all systems go, having to hit the fast-forward button. Tonight's Raw, Friday night's SmackDown, and next week's shows are the only time you've got to build up matches for two nights of SummerSlam. I expect tonight's episode to be packed with Adam Pearce making several matches official, and I fully anticipate CM Punk is going to win the gauntlet match to earn the next title shot at Gunther.
What else they do is a mystery right now, but once the show begins, so does the live coverage!
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw July 14, 2025:
- Naomi opened the show with a promo about how she had cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase on Iyo Sky to win the Women's World Championship last night at Evolution. Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky came out to seethe over what happened. Adam Pearce then interrupted to say all three will fight for the title at SummerSlam.
- Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez defeated The Kabuki Warriors by pinfall.
- 2-out-of-3 Falls No. 1 Contender's Match: Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley and has earned a shot at Becky Lynch for SummerSlam for the Women's Intercontinental Championship.
- Nikki Bella defeated Chelsea Green by pinfall. Stephanie Vaquer helped her fight off The Green Regime post-match.
- Backstage, The New Day and Grayson Waller tried to bribe Adam Pearce into giving them a tag title match by giving him two toupees. He told them to earn the rematch. He then informed Dominik Mysterio that next week, he's set to be medically evaluated again, and the moment he's cleared, he's going to have to face AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam.
- Gunther had a promo about how he defeated Goldberg at Saturday Night's Main Event. Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker interrupted to threaten Gunther about how Breakker will earn the title shot for SummerSlam and then beat him for the World Heavyweight Championship.
- Gauntlet Match: Bron Breakker got through Penta, LA Knight, and Jey Uso before losing to CM Punk. Roman Reigns returned and took out Breakker and Bronson Reed. Reigns then helped up Jey Uso, but not CM Punk, though those three stood tall in the ring together to end the show.
