Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for tonight's episode, we're continuing the story of Bayley vs Becky Lynch, following not only Becky's attack on Bayley that took her out of WrestleMania 41, but Bayley's return to Raw last week when she attacked The Man. Expect to see another fight between the two, with the possibility that a match between them gets announced for either an upcoming episode of Raw, or the WWE Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia. That depends on what Nick Aldis will be doing as a response to whatever interaction they have, as he's filling in for Raw General Manager Adam Pearce again tonight. (Of course, Aldis and Pearce don't actually make the matches, but that's how it goes down in kayfabe.)
Liv Morgan and Kairi Sane will be in singles competition. Strangely, WWE has been spending more time with Iyo Sky involving herself with Sane in opposition of the women's tag team champions (Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez) than Sky has been focused on the Women's World Championship. This all ties into Nikki Bella as well, after Morgan laid her out last week, which feels like everyone is just killing time and stalling until an inevitable announcement of The Bella Twins fighting for the tag titles at Evolution, and WWE not necessarily having an idea in mind of what to do with Sky for June until setting up a new No. 1 contender.
Most importantly tonight, the remaining Fatal 4-Way matches will take place in the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. Jey Uso was announced as the mystery competitor after dropping his World Heavyweight Championship back to Gunther last week on Raw. It wouldn't be shocking if we get Gunther cutting a promo and a possible appearance by Goldberg to set up a Saturday Night's Main Event match between them, while Jey likely wins his Fatal 4-Way. On the women's side, Asuka will be returning to action and could have the edge over the others, but don't count out Stephanie Vaquer, either!
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw June 16, 2025:
- The show opened with a promo from Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio about how Morgan is the greatest women's tag team champion of all time and deserves a rematch against Iyo Sky for the Women's World Championship. Sky came out and dropkicked her.
- Asuka advanced in the Queen of the Ring Tournament by winning her Fatal 4-Way against Ivy Nile, Raquel Rodriguez, and Stephanie Vaquer, pinning Rodriguez after Rhea Ripley had interfered to get some payback for Raquel costing her her Round 1 match.
- Gunther cut a promo about how Jey Uso was only the better man for one night at WrestleMania 41. Goldberg came back and challenged Gunther for Saturday Night's Main Event on July 12th.
- AJ Styles defeated JD McDonagh by pinfall.
- Becky Lynch and Bayley had a confrontation in the ring, ending with a match scheduled between them for next week.
- Backstage, Nick Aldis told AJ Styles that he will face Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions, and told Bayley that her match against Becky next week will be for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. Lyra Valkyria overheard this and got annoyed that Bayley hasn't messaged her since her return. She then also got annoyed that Bayley said she's "just doing what's best for herself" and said that if Bayley wins the title, she'll do the same.
- Liv Morgan was immediately injured in her match against Kairi Sane, suffering a dislocated shoulder.
- Backstage, Karrion Kross got under Sami Zayn's skin again. Zayn wants a match with Kross once the King of the Ring tournament is over.
- Jey Uso advanced in the King of the Ring Tournament by winning his Fatal 4-Way Round 1 match. Bron Breakker interfered to push Uso, only to get taken out by Sami Zayn and Penta. LA Knight then also interfered to cost Bronson Reed, who took the pin from Uso. Rusev and Sheamus were also involved in the match, but were on the outside.
