Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for today's episode, we have the last two semifinals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments with Cody Rhodes against Jey Uso and Roxanne Perez against Jade Cargill. Given how the winners will go on to face Randy Orton and Asuka, and those winners will challenge the champions of their respective brands who are currently Gunther or John Cena and Iyo Sky or Tiffany Stratton, you have to work in reverse. Who could win the title shot at SummerSlam more so than the crowns at Night of Champions? My bet is Cody Rhodes beats Orton to earn his shot at Cena rather than to retread Orton or Uso against Gunther, and that either Asuka fights Iyo, or Jade wins Queen of the Ring and in the meantime, Tiffany Stratton drops the title to Naomi's Money in the Bank cash-in. As such, I'm going Rhodes and Cargill winning their matches tonight to set that up.
Becky Lynch will also put her Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line against Bayley. I can't imagine Bayley's winning the title tonight and The Man is dropping it already. Shenanigans will ensue, likely involving Lyra Valkyria, and we'll get a Triple Threat between them set up for a future show like Evolution.
I'd also expect we'll see more tonight between Karrion Kross and Sami Zayn, something with Goldberg to build more buzz for his match at Saturday Night's Main Event against Gunther, the same for AJ Styles and Dominik Mysterio, and any last-minute hype for Night of Champions.
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw June 23, 2025:
- Seth Rollins opened the show with a promo alongside Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman, about how everything will lead to him as champion since he has Money in the Bank.
- Bron Breakker defeated Penta by pinfall.
- In his office, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce was talking to Nick Aldis about what to do with the women's tag team titles. He then told AJ Styles that Dominik Mysterio is not medically cleared to compete and the IC title match at Night of Champions is no longer happening. He also then informed The New Day that they have to defend the world tag team titles against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh next week.
- Finn Balor gave everyone a pep talk in the Judgment Day clubhouse about how Roxanne Perez will win Queen of the Ring, Balor and McDonagh will win the tag titles next week, Dom is still the intercontinental champion, and Raquel Rodriguez still has the women's tag titles.
- Backstage, Lyra Valkyria wanted to smooth things over with Bayley that they're cool with one another and wish her good luck against Becky Lynch tonight. Lynch was shown seeing this for the first part of that conversation, down the hall in the background.
- TBD - Queen of the Ring Tournament Semifinals: Jade Cargill vs Roxanne Perez
- TBD - Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs Bayley
- TBD - King of the Ring Tournament Semifinals: Cody Rhodes vs Jey Uso
