Today's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw (May 5, 2025) emanates out of the CHI Health Center in Omaha and will air starting at 8 p.m. EST on Netflix.

This post will be updated frequently throughout the program (for however long the show goes on). As Raw goes on, keep refreshing this post to get the most up-to-date information on all the match winners, breakdowns of the promo segments, and anything else noteworthy or interesting that takes place.

Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:

On tap for tonight's episode, WWE has once again opted to basically say the trio of Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker will be there and not much else, meaning we can assume a promo will eat up some time and Breakker will spear someone as the feud with Sami Zayn continues.

Becky Lynch will also have a promo to hype up her Women's Intercontinental Championship match against Lyra Valkyria at this Saturday's Backlash, as this is the go-home edition of Raw to make some additions or changes to that card's lineup. After they trash talk each other, someone will take a shot and they'll brawl for a moment.

Iyo Sky faces Roxanne Perez to continue that story, too. Look for involvement from Giulia and Rhea Ripley, as well as possibly Stephanie Vaquer. It's a non-title match, so there's always a chance Perez walks out with a victory (particularly due to outside interference shenanigans and distractions, which could lead to more problems between Sky and Ripley).

Bet on Penta beating JD McDonagh and the tension within The Judgment Day to become even more palpable between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor.

Obviously, Rusev is not going to lose to Otis. WWE wouldn't bring him in, try to give him a story of being brutal, and immediately have him lose to the first person he's up against. This could very well even be a squash if they want to make it seem even more impactful.

Also, Adam Pearce will be returning as general manager after having Nick Aldis fill in for him last week. How that may influence stories and what else we have in store for us, we'll just have to find out!

Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw May 5, 2025:

  • Promo: Paul Heyman relayed a message on behalf of Seth Rollins to challenge Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship any time, any place. Uso opted for tonight, which was their plan.
  • Penta defeated JD McDonagh by pinfall.
  • Backstage, Grayson Waller volunteered Austin Theory for a singles match tonight and didn't tell him his opponent, as it would be better if it were a surprise.
  • Sheamus defeated Austin Theory by pinfall.
  • Backstage, in The Judgment Day clubhouse, Dominik Mysterio asked Finn Balor to take care of AJ Styles for him, as they have a history together. Balor complained that he's not Mysterio's lackey, but then smiled and said of course he'd help him out.
  • Elsewhere backstage, The New Day told Chad Gable that they think it's time some tag team title opportunities come back to American Made.
  • Promo: Becky Lynch complains that Lyra Valkyria is garbage. Valkyria comes out and hits her with some verbal assaults about how Lynch has been away and her act is stale. Becky touted her achievements, and Lyra told her she's second place when it comes to how she won the Women's Intercontinental Championship first. Becky fired the first shot and they fought until officials separated them.
  • Iyo Sky defeated Roxanne Perez by pinfall. Perez showed Sky some respect after the match with a handshake, but it was a ruse just to lull the women's world champion into a false sense of security as Giulia attacked her from behind. Giulia and Perez beat Sky down and posed over her.
  • Rusev defeated Otis by submission. After the match, Akira Tozawa challenged Rusev to a fight. Rusev backed away, but then attacked Tozawa and laid him out until officials stepped in to pull him away.
  • Gunther and Pat McAfee had an in-ring promo face-off hyping up their Backlash match.
  • World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins defeated Jey Uso (c) by disqualification. Bron Breakker got involved, but the referee didn't see it. Sami Zayn came out to fight with Breakker to even the odds. After some near-falls, CM Punk came out with a steel chair to fight with Breakker and Rollins to end the match standing in the ring alongside Zayn and Uso as Rollins, Breakker and Heyman retreated.
