Preview & Predictions for WWE RAW:
On tap for today's episode, Roman Reigns is set to start the show. Given that wording, as well as WWE's track record of starting off nearly every single episode of Raw and SmackDown for the past 15 years with a 15-minute promo segment, don't be shocked if The Tribal Chief opens with a promo addressing The Vision to set up some kind of a main event for the night where the usual suspects (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed) are in some sort of tag team match. Reigns fighting is an option, but not a guarantee. Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and LA Knight are far more likely to compete.
CM Punk is also set to "return to Raw" (despite predominantly being there, but taking one week off means you can "return" to the show, which is crazy). WWE is just advertising this as "what's next for Punk?" which could very well mean that he is also just set for a promo—perhaps even the same promo as Reigns with Punk interrupting.
As far as matches are concerned, the only two announced in advance are Becky Lynch against Maxxine Dupri and Roxanne Perez against Lyra Valkyria. Becky is obviously the pick over Dupri unless they want to tell a story of Dupri getting a surprise roll-up for whatever reason (AJ Lee distraction? She's not advertised to appear, strangely). This is a non-title match, so Dupri could technically win. As far as Lyra and Roxanne are concerned, the victor all depends on which side of Bayley gets involved. If it is the happy hugger, she'll help Lyra offset Raquel Rodriguez. If it is the angry "ding dong, hello" version calling her an idiot, she'll be detrimental to Valkyria's success. After all, that's the whole point of the story.
Here are your results for WWE Monday Night Raw - October 6, 2025:
- Roman Reigns kicked off the show with a promo where he was immediately interrupted by Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman, who gloated about laying him out before. After some back-and-forth, Reed and Heyman went to leave and Reigns called them little bitches for not fighting, which upset Reed enough to come back out and brawl with Reigns. They were separated by officials, but Reigns was clearly the victor of the match. They will face off at Crown Jewel in an "Australian Street Fight", so this was a taste of that.
- Backstage, Asuka was complaining to Adam Pearce. She wants a match against Iyo Sky. But it turns out she's volunteering Kairi Sane for that and not herself. Sane doesn't want to do that, so Asuka slapped her to get her in line.
- Maxxine Dupri defeated Becky Lynch by count-out.
- Backstage, Roman Reigns met up with The Usos. He told Jey to be focusing on trying to get the world heavyweight title back and mentioned how CM Punk is the one talking at the top of the hour, not him.
- Lyra Valkyria and Bayley were backstage getting hyped for her upcoming match.
- Roxanne Perez defeated Lyra Valkyria by pinfall.
- AJ Styles had a run-in backstage with Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh, setting up a six-man tag team match for later.
- CM Punk had a promo segment that was interrupted by LA Knight, followed by Jey Uso, as they all have Seth Rollins in their sights and their own reasons to be the next in line for a title opportunity. Jey ultimately superkicked Knight. Jimmy Uso had also come out to try to broker some peace. Punk said he likes Jey, but he doesn't like "Little Roman". Jimmy stopped Jey from superkicking Punk. Punk laid out Jey, so Jimmy then superkicked him for some payback.
- Kairi Sane defeated Iyo Sky by pinfall. Asuka had held down Sky (without the referee seeing) to help Sane get the cheap win. After the match, The Kabuki Warriors laid out Sky. Sane was upset about doing it, but Asuka was thrilled.
- Backstage, Becky Lynch was furious over how they need better referees due to her count-out. She left the area and Seth Rollins then asked Paul Heyman what happens if he doesn't beat Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. After Heyman tried to just play it off like Seth is obviously going to win, Seth pressed enough to get an honest answer out of Heyman, which is that Rollins would lose everyone in The Vision (including himself) and all of this stuff since WrestleMania will have been wasted, essentially.
- Backstage, Jey Uso was upset over Jimmy getting in his way in the promo segment. Roman and Jimmy then talked with Jimmy saying neither of them are like Roman, who said once Jey won the world title, he became a lot more like Reigns, and Jimmy might be better off just staying out of Jey's way if he cares about him.
- Six-Man Tag Team Match: AJ Styles, Dragon Lee & Penta defeated The Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor & JD McDonagh) by pinfall.
- CM Punk & LA Knight defeated The Usos by pinfall.
