On tap for tonight's episode, Kendal Grey defends the NXT Women's Championship against Lola Vice in an NXT Underground Match; Vanity Project defends the NXT Tag Team Championship against Tavion Heights and Myles Borne; Wren Sinclair puts the WWE Women's Speed Championship on the line against ZARIA; Keanu Carver faces E.K. Prosper; and Jaida Parker and Thea Hail battle Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons.
Despite Vice being undefeated in the NXT Underground scenario, there's no part in me that expects her to win the title back. I'd wager this is more about putting Grey over and really stamping her as their next major focal point rather than to just switch the belt back to Vice, who is almost assuredly on her way out of NXT to go join the SmackDown roster instead soon enough.
I don't anticipate any title changes here, actually. The Vanity Project will retain over Myles Borne and Tavion Heights and Wren Sinclair will beat Zaria, as it has been set up that if she does, she'll get a shot at the Women's North American Championship, which she will then lose to make them 1-1 and get two weeks out of it.
EK Prosper beating Keanu Carver twice was very surprising, so if he wins a third time, that's going to be even more shocking. I'd place my bets on Carver getting that win.
Lastly, I see more positives in Parker and Hail beating Petrovic and Lyons than the other way around, especially since Hail made Lyons tap out on EVOLVE. Hail should likely get the next title shot for that belt and this can help further that story.
