WWE NXT Results (August 4, 2026): Kendal Grey vs Lola Vice NXT Underground Title Match & More

Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (August 4, 2026) emanates from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on The CW Network.

On tap for tonight's episode, Kendal Grey defends the NXT Women's Championship against Lola Vice in an NXT Underground Match; Vanity Project defends the NXT Tag Team Championship against Tavion Heights and Myles Borne; Wren Sinclair puts the WWE Women's Speed Championship on the line against ZARIA; Keanu Carver faces E.K. Prosper; and Jaida Parker and Thea Hail battle Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons.

Despite Vice being undefeated in the NXT Underground scenario, there's no part in me that expects her to win the title back. I'd wager this is more about putting Grey over and really stamping her as their next major focal point rather than to just switch the belt back to Vice, who is almost assuredly on her way out of NXT to go join the SmackDown roster instead soon enough.

I don't anticipate any title changes here, actually. The Vanity Project will retain over Myles Borne and Tavion Heights and Wren Sinclair will beat Zaria, as it has been set up that if she does, she'll get a shot at the Women's North American Championship, which she will then lose to make them 1-1 and get two weeks out of it.

EK Prosper beating Keanu Carver twice was very surprising, so if he wins a third time, that's going to be even more shocking. I'd place my bets on Carver getting that win.

Lastly, I see more positives in Parker and Hail beating Petrovic and Lyons than the other way around, especially since Hail made Lyons tap out on EVOLVE. Hail should likely get the next title shot for that belt and this can help further that story.

• The show opened with a memorial graphic for Dory Funk Jr., followed by a tribute video later in the broadcast.
• Jaida Parker and Thea Hail defeated Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons by pinfall. Nattie, Petrovic and Lyons attacked afterward, but Parker and Hail fought them off.
• Tony D'Angelo confronted Grayson Waller and mocked him for never winning the NXT Championship. Cruz Montana joined the argument before D'Angelo told Waller and Montana to arrange a No. 1 contender's match, with the winner challenging him at NXT Heatwave.
• Wren Sinclair and ZARIA fought to a five-minute time-limit draw in a match for the WWE Women's Speed Championship, allowing Sinclair to retain. ZARIA attacked Sinclair with an F5 afterward, and the two will meet for ZARIA's NXT Women's North American Championship next week.
• Bronco Nima apologized to Lucien Price for costing OTM its match last week, but Price noted that Nima has a backup plan with Perros del Mal in AAA and said he would find one of his own. After BirthRight interrupted, Price challenged Lexis King to a singles match.
• Kelani Jordan told Grayson Waller that she intends to win NXT's top women's title on her first attempt, something Waller failed to accomplish. Mason Rook then confronted Waller over his criticism of the roster before Kam Hendrix attacked Rook and sparked a pull-apart brawl.
• Myles Borne and Tavion Heights defeated The Vanity Project's Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes by pinfall to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. Jackson Drake and Myka Lockwood were ejected for attempting to interfere, while Borne became a double champion and Heights captured his first WWE title.
• The Vanity Project were furious about losing the titles backstage, while Myka Lockwood became distracted by Keanu Carver as he passed them.
• Izzi Dame and Niko Vance confronted Lizzy Rain before Shawn Spears announced that he and Rain will face Dame and Vance in a mixed tag team match next week. Rain warned that she does not trust Spears and could quickly find herself outnumbered, prompting Spears to call her a "smart girl."
• Keanu Carver defeated E.K. Prosper by pinfall with a small package. Carver showed Prosper respect after the match.
• Dion Lennox criticized Cutler James and Osiris Griffin for becoming satisfied and complacent. Lennox promised that Saquon Shugars will not walk away from their rematch next week.
• Shiloh Hill revealed that he suffered a fractured maxilla during last week's match against Tristan Angels and will be sidelined. With time to spare, Hill discussed wrestling rabbit holes involving Pat Patterson's fictional tournament in Rio de Janeiro, the origins of green mist and Kali Armstrong's sprinting accomplishments among other things.
• Robert Stone spoke on the phone with an unidentified free agent before confirming that Cruz Montana will face Grayson Waller next week, with the winner challenging Tony D'Angelo at NXT Heatwave. Tristan Angels complained that Montana had not earned the opportunity, but Montana pointed to his NXT appearances last year and noted that Angels has only been on the roster for three months.
• Kendal Grey defeated Lola Vice by submission in an NXT Underground match to retain the NXT Women's Championship. Grey overcame an injured and bloodied ear before forcing Vice to submit to a triangle choke, and the two embraced after the match.
