Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT was taped at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Here is a breakdown of the most noteworthy results that transpired during this show:

The show opened with a promo from Giulia, talking about how she won the Women's Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline. She intends to win the NXT Women's Championship at New Year's Evil on January 7, 2025 in Los Angeles. Roxanne Perez came out to address her challenger, confidently stating Giulia would fail to win the title. Cora Jade then appeared, saying she had attacked Stephanie Vaquer backstage to prevent her from coming out to help Giulia, as she and Perez went on the attack. Giulia was saved by Kelani Jordan, who helped her fend off the champion and her friend.

In a backstage segment, Tony D'Angelo took pity on a down and somber Ethan Page, saying he would give him an NXT North American Championship match. At first, Page turned it down, saying it was beneath him. However, when D'Angelo was ready to give it to someone else, Page accepted, saying that if he didn't have it in him to beat the North American champion, he might as well have no career.

Je'Von Evans beat Wes Lee by pinfall

Backstage, Axiom and Nathan Frazer patted each other on the back for their performances at NXT Deadline. Frazer admitted that Axiom held their tag team title bout together, while Axiom gave Frazer credit for wrestling in two matches when he thought he wouldn't be able to pull it off. Frazer left to go "make things right". Later, it would be revealed that Axiom booked himself in a match against Oba Femi, as he was upset at how Femi had beaten Frazer so badly in the Iron Survivor Challenge. However, Frazer also had booked Axiom in a match for next week, as he set them up for an NXT Tag Team Championship title defense against Gallus. This means Axiom will have to wrestle twice next week.

A vignette showed spotlighting Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura. Briggs notably called out that his previous tag team partner, Brooks Jensen, was immature, but he doesn't have to worry about that with an accomplished star like Inamura.

Kelani Jordan gave a backstage update on Stephanie Vaquer's medical situation, saying she would be okay.

Sol Ruca and Zaria chatted in the locker room. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson interrupted to claim they would have won the Iron Survivor Challenge unlike Ruca and Zaria, setting up a tag team match for next week.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger defeated Tyson DuPont and Tyriek Igwe by pinfall.

Oba Femi cut a promo about how he intends to win the NXT Championship at New Year's Evil. Trick Williams came out to counteract him. Femi said the only reason a "Whoop That Trick" era existed was because he allowed it to, and he could easily win the NXT Championship at any time. Trick remained confident he'd retain his title. Fatal Influence's Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx defeated Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley by pinfall after interference from Fallon Henley. After the match, Shotzi Blackheart made her return to help Dolin and Paxley fight off Fatal Influence, who had continued to attack them.

Tony D'Angelo retained his NXT North American Championship over Ethan Page by pinfall. Later in the night, Page talked about how he may call himself "all ego", but he's really just ashamed of himself.

Lexis King spoke with NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf about how he inspired him to go to Minneapolis and close that chapter of his life. Charlie Dempsey came over to say King is becoming the best version of himself, and he's granting him an NXT Heritage Cup match in two weeks if he can withstand a workout session with Dempsey.

Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade defeated Giulia and Kelani Jordan by pinfall in the main event, with Jade pinning Jordan while Perez and Giulia were fighting backstage. Post-match, Stephanie Vaquer made her return to beat down Jade, sending her running away.
