Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT was taped at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Here is a breakdown of the most noteworthy results that transpired during this show:
Wren Sinclair defeated Cora Jade, Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker with a pinfall on Cora Jade to win the Women’s Last Chance Fatal 4-Way Match to Qualify for the Iron Survivor Challenge. This came about due to interference from Lola Vice, who tried to hit Jaida Parker, who ducked. Vice hit Sinclair instead, who fell backward into a pin for a shocking finish.
After that match, Jaida Parker was upset and carried a brick to the ring, ready to have her NXT Underground fight with Lola Vice that she had been previously challenged to. NXT General Manager Ava interrupted to instead book the match for NXT Deadline. Lola Vice then came out, they talked some trash, and Parker was able to knock out Vice with one hit.
The No. 1 Contenders’ Tag Team Battle Royal was won by Myles Borne who last eliminated Lucien Price and Tank Ledger. As a result, Borne and his tag team partner, Tavion Heights, No Quarter Catch Crew, will get the shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Deadline.
In a promo segment, Eric Bischoff mediated a confrontation between Trick Williams and Ridge Holland. He poked the bears and riled them up, as he said he would do. By the end of this segment, Holland had called Williams soft, and to prove him wrong, Trick struck first, but was ultimately slammed on the commentary table by Holland and stretchered out of the arena.
Karmen Petrovic defeated Nikkita Lyons by pinfall. During the match, Ashante “Thee” Adonis came out and pushed Petrovic out of the way when Lyons tried to hit her while she was distracted. Lyons hit Adonis instead, and even though Petrovic was able to capitalize on all of this and get the win, she misinterpreted what Adonis did and was angry with him for pushing her.
Backstage, Shawn Spears creeped out Gigi Dolin by saying he was looking forward to her return to the ring, and had told Niko Vance and Brooks Jensen that there was a missing piece of the puzzle to his plan, impying it was Dolin, for some reason we don't yet know.
Gigi Dolin defeated Izzi Dame by pinfall.
When Je'Von Evans was being interviewed, X-Pac interrupted to put over Evans as someone he's a fan of and told him he has a good chance to win the Iron Survivor Challenge.
Eddy Thorpe defeated Axiom, Cedric Alexander and Lexis King by pinfall on King to win the Men’s Last Chance Fatal 4-Way Match to Qualify for the Iron Survivor Challenge. However, the final shots of this episode saw Thorpe laying on the ground, attacked by someone unknown. What that has in store for Thorpe possibly being replaced at NXT Deadline remains unannounced.
Roxanne Perez cut a promo about how none of the women in the Iron Survivor Challenge will be able to beat her, so they're all just fighting to be second place. All five of them eventually came out, leading to a brawl, which resulted in Sinclair of all people standing tall over Perez holding the NXT Women's Championship title belt.
