Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:
On tap for tonight's episode, two more Superstars will join Ricky Saints in qualifying for the upcoming ladder match to crown a new NXT champion on February 3rd. My bet is more on Josh Briggs than Shiloh Hill (but it wouldn't shock me if they went the other way) and since Eli Knight has been confirmed to be on the NXT roster while "Super" Sean Legacy hasn't yet been announced in that way, I guess Knight wins out, but I'd normally lean toward Legacy. We'll obviously also learn some more information about the remaining three spots and those qualifying matches.
Swipe Right should absolutely beat Chase U. No questions.
Now that The IInspiration are out of TNA Wrestling and The Elegance Brand is back to being in charge of the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, I think we're looking at a babyface team winning the triple threat title shot. WrenQCC stand out to me as the underdogs who could win, but it's a lot easier to continue telling the ZaRuca split up if Sol Ruca and Zaria get the shot and lose, so I'll go with them here to set them up for that failure. Then again, they could just lose this match instead.
There is a good chance Ethan Page loses the NXT North American Championship to Elio Lefleur, but I think we'll see more of a "put up a good fight and nearly had the title won, but what an impressive debut" for Lefleur instead, with Page cheating.
Here are your results for WWE NXT - January 20, 2026:
- Ethan Page retained the NXT North American Championship over the debuting Elio LeFleur by pinfall, which he was able to do by cheating via holding the tights.
- Footage aired of Keanu Carver arguing with Booker T during WWE LFG to further push the story about him being a loose canon.
- Shiloh Hill defeated Josh Briggs by pinfall to qualify for the NXT Championship ladder match. Tony D'Angelo attacked both of them after the match.
- Zaria is going into the tag team match tonight not 100% and doesn't want Sol Ruca to blame her if they lose.
- Swipe Right of The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) defeated Chase U (Kale Dixon & Uriah Connors) by pinfall.
- Backstage, Ava booked Thea Hail and Lola Vice in a Triple Threat against Izzi Dame for the NXT Women's North American Championship on February 3rd.
- Keanu Carver was going to be interviewed, but didn't want to do it.
- Jaida Parker cut a "lots of words but not saying much" type of promo in the ring about how people doubt her and say she doesn't belong (who is saying this?) but she's not going to diminish herself to make others feel more comfortable, which prompted Blake Monroe to interrupt, basically just to remind everyone that they're feuding now, even though nothing happened as they didn't come to blows or announce anything.
- NXT Championship Six Pack Challenge Ladder Match Qualifying Match: Sean Legacy defeated Eli Knight by pinfall. D'Angelo attacked both after the match and was arrested by security.
- Niko Vance and Shawn Spears want to let OTM and DarkState fight it out and pick up the pieces for the NXT Tag Team Championship after.
- Blake Howard tried to talk to Tony D'Angelo as he was arrested, but Tony D didn't say a word. OTM then pushed Howard out of the way to talk to the camera and address how they want a tag title shot against DarkState next week.
- The Vanity Project and two unnamed girls were celebrating Swipe Right's tag team win. Robert Stone told Jackson Drake that he will face Joe Hendry in a qualifier next match. Since they said his name, Hendry appeared, replacing one of those women.
- No. 1 Contenders Triple Threat Tag Team Match for a TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Title Opportunity: ZaRuca (Sol Ruca & Zaria) defeated Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) and WrenQCC (Kendal Grey & Wren Sinclair)
