Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (airing January 21, 2025) is live out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

On the schedule for tonight's show are three titles on the line. Oba Femi faces Eddy Thorpe in a match he specifically demanded after Thorpe attacked Femi from behind with a leather strap. Tony D'Angelo will put his NXT North American Championship up for grabs against Ridge Holland, as those two had brawled last week as well. Lastly, Lexis King is giving Charlie Dempsey a chance to win back the NXT Heritage Cup after their series of matches that ultimately led to King winning the cup through wonky methods, only to beat Dempsey in a straight-up sudden death match.
Of course, we're also going to see much more that hasn't been advertised, so be on the lookout for the continuation of storylines like Karmen Petrovic and Ashante "Thee" Adonis making their relationship official, Shawn Spears continuing to try to influence talent like Izzi Dame and Adriana Rizzo, Cora Jade seeking out TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich after beating Kelani Jordan last week and showing up at TNA Genesis, some build to the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match as Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson will face Bianca Belair and Naomi next week, and more with the men's tag team titles now that Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura are opposite OTM but still looking to get in the title hunt, whiel Axiom and Nathan Frazer are defending the titles on TNA soil.
Will Corey Graves be on tonight's episode or not? What else are we in store for? We'll find out at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network!
Here are your results for the January 21, 2025 edition of WWE NXT:
- Tony D'Angelo retained the North American Championship over Ridge Holland by pinfall. Shawn Spears came out during the match to observe, and eventually, he along with Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance started to brawl with The Family. During that chaos, while the referee was distracted, Izzi Dame came out and kicked Holland, giving D'Angelo an opportunity to capitalize from and win. Dame said "NOW, we're even." as a result of that.
- In the men's locker room, Wes Lee (flanked by Tyson DuPont and Tyriek Igwe) was putting down Dion Lennox. When Trick Williams came into the locker room, Lee started to make fun of how Trick lost the NXT Championship. As a result, Trick slapped Lee, who was set to face Lennox later.
- Bayley cut an in-ring promo about her appearance on NXT last week and her problems with Roxanne Perez. NXT Women's Champion Giulia came out and they shared some respectful words until they were interrupted by Perez and Cora Jade, who were getting booed considerably. Eventually, a brawl erupted between them. Meanwhile, in the women's locker room, Kelani Jordan and Jaida Parker started to argue, until Karmen Petrovic tried to break it up by talking about how love is in the air. Parker got upset at Petrovic, claimed Ashante "Thee" Adonis would leave her soon, and that was a trigger to start another brawl there while the in-ring brawl was also going on.
- Wes Lee defeated Dion Lennox by pinfall. After the match, Lee called out Trick Williams. Trick came out, took out DuPont, Igwe, and Lee, and said Lee's going to face him next week in Atlanta. Interestingly, Williams bumped into Lennox on the way out.
- Backstage, Sarah Schreiber announced a tag team match to come between The Family and Jensen & Vance. She then spoke to Stephanie Vaquer, who is going to still go after the NXT Women's North American Championship, despite Shotzi beating her for a No. 1 contender's spot last week after Fallon Henley hit Vaquer in the back with the title belt.
- NXT Heritage Cup Match: Lexis King (c) defeated Charlie Dempsey. Important to note, King decided to low-blow Dempsey in order to set up his finisher, giving into his urges to cheat.
- Backstage, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger were told by Andre Chase to just split up, as all tag teams end in heartbreak. Kale Dixon (who was with some others watching old footage of Chase U) called Chase a badass, but the depressed Chase said he used to be, but Chase U is dead. Dixon said it doesn't have to be as Chase walked off sulking.
- Karmen Petrovic defeated Jaida Parker by pinfall. Kelani Jordan distracted Parker to allow for Petrovic to capitalize and win.
- In the women's locker room, Sol Ruca and Zaria spoke to Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. To sum it up, those four talked about how if Legend and Jackson beat Bianca Belair and Naomi, the women of NXT will get more opportunities to fight for the Women's Tag Team Championship, which also excited Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin.
- Brooks Jensen & Niko Vance defeated Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino by pinfall.
- Fraxiom were interviewed by Sarah Schreiber about their tag title defense coming up against The Rascalz. Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs interrupted because they still want a title shot. Axiom and Nathan Frazer pointed out that just because they say they want it doesn't mean they've earned it, and OTM then went on the attack, going after Briggs and Inamura.
- Ethan Page spoke about how the next time he clashes with Je'Von Evans, he's going to do more than just punch him once in the injured jaw. While Evans does want to get his hands on Page, Ava said he's not cleared to compete. However, Cedric Alexander is, and it seems he's having a match with Page soon enough (possibly next week). A-Town Down Under then came into Ava's office to say that they're hosting a Grayson Waller Effect next week with the NXT champion as their guest.
- NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) defeated Eddy Thorpe by pinfall. After the match, Trick Williams came out to have a stare down with Femi. Thorpe went to attack Trick, but ate a Trick Shot for his efforts.
