WWE NXT Results (July 14, 2026): Two Championship Matches, No. 1 Contenders Triple Threat & More

Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (July 14, 2026) emanates from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on The CW Network.

On tap for tonight's episode, The Vanity Project defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux, Zaria defends the NXT Women's North American Championship against Layla Diggs, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong compete in a triple threat match to determine the No. 1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship, and NARAKU faces Tate Wilder.

Obviously, Wilder being the brand's resident "knock me down and beat me, but I'm an uber-optimist who will pick himself back up and keep fighting" type character means he's losing to the guy who is in the hunt for the main title. No questions there. If Wilder wins, it's entirely due to Tony D'Angelo interfering for a cheap victory or something.

I won't be prepping a title change post ahead of time for either of the title bouts. Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux haven't been on the same page 100% and are not as prominent of an act as The Vanity Project, so there's no real need for Swipe Right to lose, and Layla Diggs even getting a shot at the Women's North American Championship is already a step up for her. Zaria shouldn't lose it this quickly.

Regarding the #1 contender's match, Kendal Grey has three viable options ahead of her, but she's already beaten Lola Vice, so why revisit that? Kali Armstrong and Kelani Jordan are both potentials to dethrone Grey eventually, but I think Jordan stands more of a chance to do that, so I'll say Armstrong wins this now and is the next person for Grey to retain over before coming back around to Jordan later on.

• The Vanity Project (c) defeated Dorian Van Dux & Sean Legacy by pinfall to retain the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship. Myles Borne and Tavion Heights were watching the match backstage and Heights thinks they should try to go after the tag team titles together. Kam Hendrix has his eyes on Borne's North American Championship as he had pinned him a few weeks ago in their tag team match, which he reminds Borne about to gloat and intimidate. Later on, Jackson Drake defeated Tavion Heights by pinfall.
• Saquon Shugars was looking for tag team partners to help him fight DarkState next week. OTM turned him down (and had a confrontation with BirthRight pointing out how Bronco Nima doesn't talk to Lucien Price about the AAA stuff he's doing), EK Prosper and Hank & Tank also turned him down as they have issues with Keanu Carver and don't trust Shugars. He was eventually able to convince Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar to join him.
• Tristan Angels destroyed Shiloh Hill's replacement tooth and now, The Fog is coming for him.
• Naraku defeated Tate Wilder by pinfall. Tony D'Angelo attacked Naraku after the match and as they were being separated by officials, Naraku spit mist in the eyes of one of the security guards since D'Angelo moved out of the way.
• Layla Diggs was pulled from her Women's North American Championship title shot due to injury, so after some arguing in Robert Stone's office over who deserved to fill in the void, Stone booked a Fatal 4-Way that included Izzi Dame, Lizzy Rain, and Nikkita Lyons. Zaria retained the title by pinfall over Lyons.
• Triple Threat Match: Lola Vice defeated Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship.
