Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (July 7, 2026) emanates from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on The CW Network.
Results, match winners, promo segment notes and other major developments from NXT will be added below as the episode airs.
Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:
On tap for tonight's episode, we've got a rather match-heavy card, which isn't a bad thing whatsoever. Surely, there will still be 100 backstage interviews and promo segments and such, don't you worry.
Niko Vance vs. Shiloh Hill is tough to call. Hill just started this new gimmick of The Fog and is coming off some wins over Tristan Angels, so he's on a bit of a roll, while Vance and The Culling were losing and kicked out Shawn Spears. Does Spears interfere to cost Vance, or is Vance going to beat Hill in order to look stronger without Spears?
Keanu Carver should wreck Tank Ledger. He shouldn't keep taking losses.
With Zaria as women's North American champion, it makes more sense for a babyface to win the #1 contender's spot. That rules out Izzi Dame, but the other three could win. My guess is Layla Diggs gets close to winning the opportunity in order to keep up this Nattie group push, but fails because she doesn't want to do something heelish, which Nattie can scold her on. Therefore, Lizzy Rain or Thea Hail step up, and given those two, they've shown more interest in pushing Rain than Hail as of late, so she's my pick.
For the tag team title shot, OTM could be splitting apart. Maybe one last shot against The Vanity Project before Bronco Nima and Lucien Price go their separate ways?
Lastly, it would be insane for Kendal Grey to drop the NXT women's title this quickly, so she'll retain over Nattie, maybe with Diggs getting involved.
Here are your results for WWE NXT - July 7, 2026:
- Kali Armstrong kicked off the show by making her case for a shot at the NXT Women's Championship, saying Kendal Grey became her target after winning the title. Lola Vice interrupted to remind everyone that she still has a rematch coming, and Kelani Jordan followed to argue that neither of them had done enough to jump the line. A fight broke out, with Armstrong laying out both Vice and Jordan to stand tall.
- Fatal 4-Way Match to Determine the No. 1 Contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship: Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux defeated OTM, BirthRight and DarkState. Saquon Shugars came out during the match and got DarkState's attention, while the other teams brawled to the back. Dorian Van Dux hit a frog splash, Sean Legacy followed with a springboard 450 splash, and Legacy scored the pinfall over Uriah Connors. They will challenge The Vanity Project for the NXT Tag Team Championship on next week's episode.
- Jaida Parker was featured in a video promo about Nattie, saying she had been stuck in her own head after tapping out to the Sharpshooter. Parker said Nattie came back to refresh her career, but Parker needs to put her down.
- Emily Agard interviewed Saquon Shugars, who admitted he cannot take out DarkState three-on-one, so he is going to have to find some friends. He knows that will be difficult after everything he has done to the roster, but no matter who he finds, DarkState is going to learn that he is up next, they are up never, and it does not get any sweeter than that.
- Keanu Carver defeated Tank Ledger by pinfall after hitting an Alabama Slam.
- A Naraku vignette aired, with Naraku making it clear he is still coming after Tony D'Angelo and the NXT Championship.
- For some reason, despite all their issues, Tate Wilder and Kam Hendrix were talking to each other in the medical room about Naraku. Wilder said he wanted Naraku next week. Hendrix said his leg is at 72.8%, and when he is healed, Mason Rook is cooked. Rook came over and nearly started a fight, but that will have to happen another time.
- In the women's locker room, Nattie, Nikkita Lyons, Karmen Petrovic and Layla Diggs talked about the Kendal Grey match. Nattie offered to have everyone join Diggs for her match, but Diggs wanted to do it on her own. Nattie did not seem thrilled about that.
- Fatal 4-Way Match to Determine the No. 1 Contender for the NXT Women's North American Championship: Layla Diggs defeated Thea Hail, Izzi Dame and Lizzy Rain by pinfall. After a chaotic closing stretch, Diggs hit a moonsault on Hail to win the match. She will challenge Zaria for the NXT Women's North American Championship on next week's show.
- Nikki Blackheart, who debuted last week, was spotlighted in a vignette about how she is coming after more than just Tatum Paxley. There was plenty of talk about being a natural disaster, destruction and domination, with Blackheart saying everyone should remember her face because she is Reina Volcan.
- Tavion Heights came to the ring to apologize to Myles Borne for the way he had been acting. The Vanity Project interrupted and claimed they deserved an apology instead, which led to a fight. Borne came out to help Heights, and the two fought side by side before hugging it out.
- Backstage, Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar spoke with Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy in the commissary area. Moreno pointed out that if Legacy and Van Dux can be one win away from becoming tag team champions after only teaming for a short time, then he and Dar might not be that far away either. Legacy and Van Dux, meanwhile, still were not sure whose name should come first.
- Niko Vance defeated Shiloh Hill by pinfall after a distraction from Tristan Angels. Hill went after Angels afterward, but Shawn Spears blindsided Vance from behind with a steel chair.
- Singles Match for the NXT Women's Championship: Kendal Grey (c) retained over Nattie by pinfall. Nattie had Karmen Petrovic and Nikkita Lyons with her, while Grey had Wren Sinclair in her corner. Lola Vice eventually helped clear out the ringside issues. Nattie caught Grey in the Sharpshooter late in the match, but Grey escaped, survived a series of near falls and hit Shades of Grey out of nowhere to retain the title.
- After the match, Jaida Parker came out to confront Nattie. Nikkita Lyons and Karmen Petrovic tried to get involved, but Parker punched them down. Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong then stood on the apron to close in around Grey, making it clear that the NXT Women's Championship scene is getting crowded fast.
- Announced for next week's episode of WWE NXT:
- NXT Women's North American Championship Match: Zaria (c) vs Layla Diggs
- NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (c) vs Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux
- Triple Threat Match to Determine the No. 1 Contender for the NXT Women's Championship: Kelani Jordan vs Lola Vice vs Kali Armstrong
- Naraku vs Tate Wilder
