Tonight's episode of WWE NXT (September 30, 2025) emanates out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and airs at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.

This post will be updated throughout the evening to reflect live coverage of all the important information, noteworthy things that transpire, winners for all the match results, recaps of promo/talking segments and more. Keep refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Preview & Predictions for WWE NXT:

On tap for tonight's episode, a lot will have to be crammed in as they will be dealing with the fallout from NXT No Mercy as well as the build to the NXT vs TNA Invasion special episode coming up next week. We should see something to hype up DarkState against The Hardy Boyz in their Winners Take All match for both the NXT and TNA tag team titles, as well as Ava and Santino Marella will pick their teams for the Survivor Series style elimination matches. Ten men and ten women from both shows should be announced, unless WWE wants to try to keep something a secret. There could very well be more matches than that, so if that happens, those will need to be set up here.

But NXT will also have to back track to talk about Ricky Saints beating Oba Femi for the NXT Championship, in particular. That is a big change to the roster and cannot be skipped over. Obviously, they'll also recap all the other things that went down, like Jordynne Grace beating Blake Monroe in their Weaponized Steel Cage match, Ethan Page retaining his North American Championship (and the challenge set forth by AAA Latin American Champion El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr), Je'Von Evans beating Josh Briggs, and Jacy Jayne retaining her NXT Women's Championship over Lola Vice with some help from a masked Superstar (likely Lainey Reid, who is injured), as well as the continued issues between Jaida Parker and Lash Legend, who will be facing off tonight. Considering Legend won the previous bout, I'm assuming Parker has this one, and it could very well be something that helps determine one of the slots in the NXT women's team for Invasion, for that matter.

Here are your results for WWE NXT - September 30, 2025:

  • The show opened with a promo segment with Ricky Saints and eventually Jacy Jayne, talking about their titles, before Ava interrupted to say they are both going to be team captains for NXT Invasion. Santino Marella then introduced Mike Santana and Kelani Jordan as his two team captains, and proposed renaming the show from Invasion to Showdown (which is actually happening because Israel Hayom seems to think that this is a sleight at them even though it has nothing to do with that whatsoever.) There will be a summit segment later where the teams will be finalized.
  • Backstage, Leon Slater and Je'Von Evans are buddy-buddy, which upsets The Culling, who want a tag team match against them for later. Lyra Valkyria then gave Tatum Paxley a doll that she had created of Paxley.
  • Jaida Parker defeated Lash Legend by pinfall.
  • Backstage in the locker room, Ricky Saints gives a spot on his team to Je'Von Evans. Trick Williams wants to be co-captain (to humble himself) and doesn't like Evans, but understands why he's beneficial to the team. Myles Borne, Jasper Troy, and Josh Briggs are all brought up, and Trick suggests Borne face Briggs with the winner joining the team.
  • Ethan Page will face Mustafa Ali with the North American Championship on the line next week.
  • In the women's locker room, some people pitched why they should be on Team NXT and caused an argument. Jacy Jayne added Jaida Parker and Sol Ruca to the team. The final spot will go to either Fallon Henley or Lola Vice. Zaria seems upset and wants to talk to Sol Ruca privately.
  • Myles Borne defeated Josh Briggs by pinfall. Briggs tried to use a steel chain, but Matt Cardona stopped him from being able to do so.
  • Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry pitched their cases about wanting to be on Team TNA, but Kelani Jordan and Mike Santana aren't sure of their dedication (which doesn't make any sense considering Jordan being an NXT Superstar and Hendry not officially being in NXT, but...)
  • Lola Vice defeated Fallon Henley by pinfall. After the commercial break, backstage, Lainey Reid admitted that she was the one who attacked Lola Vice to help Jacy Jayne retain at No Mercy, and confessed to attacking Jazmyn Nyx as well.
  • Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater defeated The Culling (Niko Vance & Shawn Spears) by pinfall.
  • In the NXT vs TNA Summit segment, the team captains all got in each other's faces. Mike Santana chose Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Leon Slater to finish out his team, while Kelani Jordan picked The IInspiration and Mara Sade. This led to a brawl between NXT and TNA stars.
