Money in the Bank is no longer taking place in July!

The annual PLE has been confirmed for New Orleans, Louisiana next year with a different time and month - Sunday, September 6, 2026. This comes a month after Summerslam, which is scheduled for August 1st and 2nd. Check out the press release for Money in the Bank below:

WWE, in conjunction with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and Legends Global, has announced that Money in the Bank will now take place Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026 — one week later than originally announced — at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Money in the Bank features WWE’s biggest Superstars as they battle to earn a briefcase containing a contract for a championship match at a time and place of their choosing anytime within the next year.

Additional ticket details and event information will be announced in the coming months. To register to be the first to hear about pre-sale opportunities for Money in the Bank, visit wwe.com/mitb-2026.

Time goes by fast so Money in the Bank will be here quickly. As always, it’ll be an exciting time to predict the possible winners of the annual event. This year, both Naomi and Seth Rollins won their respective women's and men's MITB ladder matches and successfully cashed in.

Unfortunately, both are no longer the champions. This is the first time that both Money in the Bank recipients either relinquished or stripped of their titles within the year that they won them. It should be very interesting to see the men and women who will occupy the 2026 ladder matches.

So far, Money in the Bank remains a one night event. There were rumors that WWE was considering making it two nights, but that’s not the case. At least not for 2026. Of course, the show is too far in advance to make any real predictions on what could take place.

However, who do you think has a real shot at winning the 2026 Money in the Band ladder match for both men and women?
