WWE Officially Announces The Main Events Of WRESTLEMANIA Night 1 And Night 2

After last month's Royal Rumble, all signs pointed to "Main Event" Jey Uso main evening WrestleMania.

Unfortunately for him, it's since become clear that fans aren't particularly high on his match with World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and as over as he is, their latest rematch is not a main event bout.

On the other hand, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena is a given for that slot. However, now that the Show of Shows takes place over two nights, what will take the other slot?

During SmackDown in London, England, yesterday evening, it was finally confirmed that Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk will headline WrestleMania Night 1, meaning Rhodes vs. Cena will go on last during Night 2.

There may not be a title on the line, but Triple H is already billing this as "the biggest Triple Threat Match in WrestleMania history." It will almost mark the first time CM Punk main event the historic PLE, something we know he's always wanted to do.

While the Best in the World's lifelong dream has now been achieved, it was revealed during the contract signing with Reigns and Rollins that this isn't the favour Paul Heyman promised him. Clearly, there's more to come with that in the weeks ahead.

You can check out some highlights from SmackDown in the X posts below.

And here's how CM Punk reacted to the news he'll finally headline WrestleMania:
