There are a lot of factors which go into WWE deciding to give someone a push and, believe it or not, merchandise sales numbers are one of the biggest. That's why we've seen Rusev finally get some attention and while fans have been critical of the IIconics, it appears as if Billie Kay and Peyton Royce's first main roster t-shirt is selling well enough for the company to put the spotlight on them.

Apparently, the current plan is for the IIconics to become the next version of LayCool, a pairing that generated a lot of heat and got over in a big way when they were popular several years ago.

Kay and Royce found a great deal of success in NXT and while their promo skills aren't the best, it's easy to imagine that being the case on SmackDown Live as well. Time will obviously tell but the show has a great female roster right now and it will be interesting seeing how they both factor into that.
