New WWE EVOLVE Foreman General Manager Named As Championship Titles Are Vacated With Final Evolution Idea

WWE EVOLVE has a new general manager, and the Foreman in charge has instituted a Final Evolution policy that has seen one champion already vacate their title, with another happening next week.

Tonight's episode of WWE EVOLVE (March 11, 2026) had a lot of moments worth talking about, including naming a new general manager for the brand, setting up something that could influence the entire show going forward, and the first of two titles changing hands in a way.

Check out this breakdown of the results for WWE EVOLVE from this week.

Welcome to the live results coverage page of this week's WWE EVOLVE episode!

A New EVOLVE General Manager is Named

Starting off the show, Interim NXT General Manager Robert Stone had an announcement regarding the leadership of WWE EVOLVE going forward. For quite some time now, the purple brand has operated without someone designated to that authority figure position after Prime Minister Stevie Turner was released from World Wrestling Entertainment.

Shawn Michaels and Stone had decided that Timothy Thatcher would advance past his current player-coach role and be the new general manager. Thatcher stated that he didn't see himself as a general manager, though, and since this is a workforce type of brand, he considers himself the Foreman of EVOLVE instead.

Final Evolution

Thatcher's first real bit of business in this authority figure position was to address how Jackson Drake and Kendal Grey are both full time NXT Superstars at this point. Since they are also holding the WWE EVOLVE Championship and WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship titles respectively, it's better for the brand for them to no longer be holding those belts anymore and to allow someone else to be in that position. But instead of just stripping them of the titles, Thatcher presented an opportunity for the "final evolution" before they move on.

The idea is simple: champions in that position are given one last title match. If they successfully defend and retain their belt, they then vacate it and move on to NXT with their heads held high that they were the top of the mountain and didn't lose their championship. However, if they lose, then that new champion is naturally the new person waving the flag for the division.

Kendal Grey Vacates WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship

The first of those scenarios went down in the main event of this episode, wherein Kendal Grey defeated Tyra Mae Steele by pinfall to retain the title before giving it up to Thatcher and thanking the audience for their support in helping her grow over this past year.

Jackson Drake's Final EVOLVE Opponent

Next week, Jackson Drake will be in the same position as he defends the title for the last time against Aaron Rourke, who had approached Timothy Thatcher and pleaded his case for why he is the perfect person to challenge Drake and represent EVOLVE.

This should undoubtedly upset Harlem Lewis, who has been gunning for that title and defeated Sam Holloway on tonight's episode in an attempt to prove his spot as challenger, but was passed over for it.

Other Results

For anyone curious, other things that happened on this episode were the following:

  • Luca Crusifino made his return to television to debut a new gimmick.
  • Harley Riggins defeated Trill London by pinfall. After the match, Dante Chen came out and derided how Riggins and Kam Hendrix are a disgrace to the Performance Center, upset over how they had attacked Tate Wilder last week. Hendrix then challenged Chen to a match for next week.

WWE EVOLVE airs at 8 p.m. ET on Tubi every Wednesday night. All episodes are prerecorded in advance from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
