You can check out these latest WWE rumours below.
- According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Brock Lesnar's new WWE contract is for "very limited dates." It sounds like WWE was "very confident" that AEW wouldn't reach a deal with The Beast during his brief stint as a free agent.
- Much has been said about WWE's recent commentary shakeups. For starters, Wade Barrett has debunked claims that he's been taken off television due to a recent misunderstanding with Nikki Bella, confirming he simply has a couple of weeks off.
- BodySlam.net, meanwhile, has learned that Joe Tessitore is off WWE commentary for now because he's busy covering college football. With Cory Graves on RAW and SmackDown for the time being, the NXT commentary team looks set to revert to being Vic Joseph and Booker T.
- For those of you wondering where Andrade has been, Fightful is reporting that there's no indication he's on the injured list.
- Jon Alba says that WWE is "trying to push John Cena’s last match as a destination weekend, with other events set around the Saturday Night’s Main Event taping."
- AJ Styles' WWE contract is set to expire next February, reports Sean Ross Sapp. This comes after Styles' son responded to a fan on social media who complained about how The Phenomenal One is being booked by writing, "You ain’t the only one, man."
- Dave Meltzer notes that Triple H sits atop the tree in AAA, though his "main creative help" comes from The Undertaker, Jeremy Borash, Konnan, and Dorian Roldan. Key producers include Pete Dunne, Lince Dorado, Savio Vega, Matt Bloom, Moody Jack, and Chavo Guerrero Jr., with "some input" from Shawn Michaels.
- Another rumour that's been debunked is the one suggesting WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella is only willing to date younger men. Addressing that on her podcast, she said:
"There’s another lie going around that I’m only into 20-year-olds. So, when I was looking through DMs, I did see there were a bunch of guys saying like, 'You know, sucks that you’re now only into the 20-year-olds,' and I go, 'Where is this coming from?' To see other people in my DMs confirm it, like, 'Hey, you know, thought I had a chance, but I guess you’re only into people in their 20s.' I’m like, 'What the?' I’m like, 'This is crazy.'"
"By the way, I would totally date and hook up with, if there was a connection in chemistry, someone in their 20s, 30s, 40s or 50s. I don’t think I’d dip into the 60s. But first of all, there’s no age. There’s no look. There has to be chemistry and feeling. I am a big passionate person. I’m not just gonna hook up with someone."
