We're heading into the final few months of 2025, and WWE has only a handful of major shows left before we're back on the Road to WrestleMania.
In our latest WWE Rumor Roundup, we have a look ahead to Survivor Series: WarGames, news on next year's Royal Rumble PLE, and more bizarre insights into Vince McMahon's 80th birthday party.
There's also more on Wrestlepalooza's controversial opening match, Piper Niven's injury status, and fresh details on NXT Superstar Jazmyn Nyx's decision to leave WWE.
Check out these latest WWE rumors below.
- Despite reports that John Cena was originally scheduled to defeat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza, the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter states that The Beast's victory was always planned for the PLE. Why? To "make him a monster" and eventually "have someone slay the monster."
- It's been reported that Lesnar will be off television for a while, and @WrestleVotes has learned that he's pencilled in for Royal Rumble 2026 in Saudi Arabia.
- We have another update on Piper Niven's injury, with Fightful Select reporting that those close to her are "confident that she’ll be back," despite concerns within the company that it's career-threatening.
- The site has also shared the latest on Jazmyn Nyx following her NXT release; WWE reportedly offered her a new contract for the same amount of money she was already earning, and she decided not to take it.
- There's been chatter about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson making an appearance at Survivor Series: WarGames, but Sean Ross Sapp has debunked the reports, no great surprise now that the Final Boss is once again focused on Hollywood.
- While this seems more like speculation than an indication of WWE's plans, Dave Meltzer has claimed that this year's Survivor Series: WarGames will likely be headlined by Roman Reigns, The Usos, and two others against Bronson Reed, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and two others.
- Steve Stasiak of Book Pro Wrestlers has taken to social media to share further details on former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's recent 80th birthday party. "NDAs everywhere, phones off, cameras banned. If you were in that room, you signed and stayed silent." Guests were also gifted a bust of the billionaire's head. Don't believe us? Well...
