It's time for WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2026! This special event is taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on Saturday, July 18, 2026.

The show is set to start at 8 p.m. ET and will stream live in the United States on Peacock.

Results, match winners, highlights and other major developments from Saturday Night's Main Event will be added below as the show airs. Keep refreshing for updates to find out all the winners and more!

Preview & Predictions for WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2026:

On tap for the show, Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk teams with his SummerSlam challenger Cody Rhodes against Gunther and Sami Zayn, Paige and Brie Bella defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against Fatal Influence's Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley, Bayley faces Lyra Valkyria, Danhausen takes on JD McDonagh in a No Disqualification match, and Roman Reigns appears with NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson.

One of the highlights of the show is likely going to be the Danhausen segment. Considering all the stuff about the Knicks, the stolen jersey, and Jalen Brunson's involvement on this, there's no way Danhausen loses to JD McDonagh, especially with the No DQ gimmick attached to it that will allow for some shenanigans.

For the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match, Fatal Influence feels like the right call. Paige and Brie Bella have had a solid run with the titles and have defended them against just about everyone available. At this point, there are not many fresh challenger teams left, and putting the belts on Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley would give Fatal Influence some needed momentum.

Lyra Valkyria needs to beat Bayley at least in an overall sense for this feud, even if she doesn't win this match. Bayley's probably leaving the company once her contract is up, so she should be used to put Lyra over on the way out. That doesn't mean Bayley can't win here and that it wouldn't make sense, though. If the story is going to be long enough that this proves Bayley is the veteran, she wins, Lyra goes even more nuts, and that's what pushes over over the edge, that could work. But it's a safer bet to just say WWE gives the win to Lyra and things don't get that deep.

Regarding the tag team match, my original thought I had been putting out there recently was that Sami Zayn would pick up the victory for his team by pinning CM Punk so he could be added into the SummerSlam match to make it a Triple Threat, while Gunther would be up against Nick Aldis. Now that it is an official stipulation that if Gunther and Zayn win, both of them will be added to make it a Fatal 4-Way, that feels like that's the direction to go instead. After some miscommunication between Punk and Rhodes, the heels will pick up the win. If not, then it's just as simple as Punk and Cody win and stare each other down while Gunther and Zayn crash out, and in that scenario, I don't know what they do with Zayn in Minneapolis.

Here are your results for WWE Saturday Night's Main Event 2026:

  • Trick Williams defeated Laredo Kid by pinfall.
  • WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match: Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) defeated Brie Bella & Paige (c) by pinfall
  • No Disqualification Match: Danhausen defeated JD McDonagh by pinfall. Danhausen had help from Minihausens and KAT from the Knicks.
  • Bayley defeated Lyra Valkyria by submission via referee stoppage. Following the bout, Valkyria attacked Bayley some more, eventually giving her a Nightwing on top of the steps.
  • Tag Team Match: CM Punk and Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther and Sami Zayn by pinfall. — If Gunther and Zayn had won, they would have been added to the title match at SummerSlam, but Nick Aldis cost them the match by pulling the ref away and nailing Gunther with the belt to interfere.
  • The main event was a brief brawl promo with Roman Reigns and Jalen Brunson being jumped by Seth Rollins and Tyrese Haliburton, only for Reigns to fight back.
