Preview & Predictions for WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XLIII:

On tap for today's event, Cody Rhodes will face Jacob Fatu as a means to get some revenge for Fatu costing Rhodes the Undisputed WWE Championship. It's an odd scenario of babyface vs babyface, so there is almost no way this match ends in a clean way whatsoever. In fact, it seems like an obvious no-contest scenario, either with both of them being counted out or disqualified, or someone (Drew McIntyre?) coming in to attack both of them. This will be a draw in one way or another.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky defending or retaining the women's tag titles entirely depends on what is happening for WrestleMania, which we don't know yet. I'd bank more on them retaining than for Liv Morgan to be holding the tag titles, as I think she's fighting Stephanie Vaquer instead, with Roxanne Perez teaming up with Raquel Rodriguez for Mania in a multi-team match.

Regarding the four-way for a title shot against McIntyre, the only guarantee is that it won't be Trick Williams, as he's a heel and the three babyfaces make more sense. I'd probably rank them Sami Zayn, Randy Orton, and then Damian Priest in terms of a pecking order of who I could see facing The Scottish Warrior in Riyadh.

Lastly, AJ Styles against Shinsuke Nakamura is obviously not going to Nakamura. For all intents and purposes, this could be the second-to-last match for Styles, where he could have chosen Nakamura as his favored opponent to wrestle a final time against. But even if that isn't the case, there isn't a justification for Styles losing.
