Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:
On tap for tonight's episode, Tiffany Stratton gets her redo shot at Giulia's Women's United States Championship after earning another opportunity last week by beating Jordynne Grace. I think the title changes hands for multiple reasons, namely being that WWE is in refresh mode and also because they do not seem to have a clue how to book Giulia and will likely be happy to take the title off her.
I'm expecting to see Jacy Jayne join the roster, which may or may not mean Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid join her, though I'm less so expecting all of Fatal Influence to get the call up. Rumors are swirling that Rey Mysterio may be traded over to the blue brand as well, and if that is the case, he likely starts a new feud with someone on this show.
Virtually everything else is just the standard "wrestler X will be there" type of baseline hype. Jacob Fatu is there for some reason, despite moving over to the Raw roster on Monday night. Rhea Ripley and Cody Rhodes will also make appearances, as will Paige and Brie Bella. Some reports are saying Wepa Up will defend the WWE Tag Team Championship titles against Tama Tonga and JC Mateo. Considering Tonga's pending exit from the MFTs, I can't imagine there's a justification behind putting the belts back on that group by any means. Maybe this is the final nail in the coffin for why Tama Tonga leaves the faction.
Hopefully, for a 3 hour show that desperately needs content, this isn't just 180 minutes of commercials, recaps, and video packages.
All that and more will go down tonight, so keep checking and refreshing for the most up-to-date results!
Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - April 24, 2026:
- The Usos told Jacob Fatu that he should go after Cody Rhodes instead of Roman Reigns. MFTs came out with Solo Sikoa trying to convince Fatu to rejoin the faction. Tama Tonga said Fatu can't beat Roman Reigns, which earned him a superkick from Fatu, who then challenged Sikoa to a match tonight.
- WWE Women's United States Championship Match: Tiffany Stratton defeated Giulia (c) by pinfall to win the title.
- Paige and Brie Bella were challenged to a Women's Tag Team Championship match by Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. That match was thrown out after Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid) attacked both teams.
- Cody Rhodes cut a promo about retaining the WWE Championship at WrestleMania and getting up after Randy Orton had punted him, telling everyone who steps up to challenge him that they're not going to like the result.
- Damian Priest and R-Truth retained the WWE Tag Team Championship titles over Tama Tonga and JC Mateo
- Trick Williams, Lil Yachty, and The Gingerbread Man were in the ring for a celebration about Trick beating Sami Zayn for the United States Championship at WrestleMania. They announced that there will be no more open challenges. The Gingerbread Man then attacked them both and revealed himself to be Sami Zayn.
- Royce Keys told Cathy Kelley in a backstage interview that he's just getting started after winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last week. Solo Sikoa approached him to say that even though Talla Tonga was mad at losing, there's always room for Keys to join his MFT faction.
- Throughout the episode, skits were aired of Danhausen in The Miz's house, causing problems. Later in the show, Danhausen defeated The Miz by pinfall.
- Blake Monroe was advertised to join the SmackDown roster soon.
- Rhea Ripley cut a promo in the ring about beating Jade Cargill at WrestleMania for the WWE Women's Championship. She was interrupted by Fatal Influence, leading to Nick Aldis making an impromptu match.
- Rhea Ripley defeated Jacy Jayne by disqualification due to interference from Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley for a 3-on-1 beat down.
- The Usos offered to be ringside for Jacob Fatu's match to offset interference from the MFTs. Fatu told them he didn't need their help.
- Rhea Ripley headed to the trainer's room, bumping into Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss who were being checked on. All three of them hate Fatal Influence, and Flair wants a piece of Jacy Jayne next week.
- Jacob Fatu beat Solo Sikoa by pinfall and took out the rest of the MFTs, proving he didn't need any help from Jimmy or Jey Uso.
