Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:
On tap for tonight's episode, the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship titles will be on the line again as Rhiyo (aka Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky) will defend against The Irresistible Forces of Nia Jax and Lash Legend. I'm 50/50 on this. Both teams will likely still be fighting each other come WrestleMania 42, along with some other teams, so I could see there being a case to be made for both keeping the belts on Rhiyo as well as putting them on Jax and Legend just to freshen things up. I fully anticipate Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, as well as Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, if not also The Kabuki Warriors and some other teams to be gunning for the belts and for everyone to keep feuding, so it'll all end up in the same place.
Jordynne Grace should beat Candice LeRae. This feels like a setup to offset Grace losing.
Just the same, Oba Femi should wreck The Miz.
In regards to Bo Dallas (or Uncle Howdy) facing Solo Sikoa, I could see this being how The Wyatt Sicks get the lantern back so that their feud with the MFTs can officially be over, allowing the WWE Tag Team Championship to move on to some other teams in the meantime without Sikoa's group carrying around an unrelated faction's sentimental object. That would be weird to just keep that going and not lose it back to them eventually, so it might as well just happen here and now.
All that and more will go down tonight, so keep checking and refreshing for the most up-to-date results!
Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - February 27, 2026:
- Prior to the show starting, Jey Uso had been attacked. This led to a segment where Drew McIntyre was in the crowd to say he didn't do it. Cody Rhodes ran out. Randy Orton followed, as did Trick Williams, Je'Von Evans, and LA Knight. Williams got into a fight with Knight. Orton hit Evans with an RKO, casually.
- Tiffany Stratton and Asuka had a confrontation backstage which seems to be leading to a match, possibly.
- Uncle Howdy beat Solo Sikoa by pinfall, but Talla Tonga managed to steal the lantern back.
- After Nick Aldis sent Drew McIntyre home, The Vision approached Aldis with the idea that Logan Paul should replace Jey Uso inside the Elimination Chamber. Aldis is suspicious that they're the people who attacked Jey, but he's going to make some calls. After some commercials and more filler, Jacob Fatu wants in the Elimination Chamber, so Aldis is thinking that over as well.
- Tiffany Stratton defeated Kairi Sane by pinfall. Chelsea Green was watching ringside on commentary and got into an argument with Stratton, for those who track the potential future feuds being set up.
- Nick Aldis informed Logan Paul and The Vision that Paul will have his chance to qualify for the Elimination Chamber if he beats Jacob Fatu.
- Oba Femi defeated The Miz by pinfall.
- Ilja Dragunov turned down facing Carmelo Hayes for the US title again, so Hayes told him eventually, someone else is going to beat him for the belt if Dragunov doesn't just go ahead and accept the challenge.
- WWE United States Championship Open Challenge Match: Carmelo Hayes (c) retained over Matt Cardona by pinfall
- Jordynne Grace defeated Candice LeRae
- WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Match: The Irresistible Forces (Lash Legend & Nia Jax) defeated Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky (c) by pinfall to win the titles!
- Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Logan Paul defeated Jacob Fatu by pinfall due to interference from Drew McIntyre. The masked man also attacked again and was unmasked as some unknown person who was escorted away and failed in his mission to cost Paul the match.
