On tap for today's episode, you gotta love when they advertise that someone like Jacob Fatu is "returning" to SmackDown when he's there essentially every week. That's just a means for them to say he will be there in some fashion but he's either doing nothing of particular note or they just don't want to say what it is yet (or haven't figured it out). My guess is they'll make his match against Solo Sikoa at SummerSlam for the United States Championship official, and according to some reports, it'll be a steel cage match.
Speaking of that idea, John Cena and Cody Rhodes will have a contract signing. You know how every one of those goes.
Charlotte Flair will be in action against Raquel Rodriguez. A win over one-half of the tag team champions will undoubtedly put The Queen and Alexa Bliss in contention for a shot at the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship titles at SummerSlam.
I also expect to see Stephanie Vaquer beat Alba Fyre. Nothing is really being hyped about that.
Andrade & Rey Fenix, Fraxiom, The Motor City Machine Guns, and #DIY will compete in a Fatal 4-Way match to determine who gets the next shot at the men's WWE Tag Team Championship titles. I'm going with Andrade and Fenix winning this one.
