Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown (March 28, 2025) emanates out of The O2 Arena in London, England and will air at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network, but is actually being taped earlier in the day at 4 p.m. EST. For those outside of the United States, Netflix will air that show live, so if you have a VPN, you get to watch it several hours before the USA broadcast!

This post here will be updated frequently throughout the night to reflect live coverage of Friday Night SmackDown, including all the match results, rundowns of the promos, and any other interesting or noteworthy things that take place. Keep refreshing for updates to find out all the winners and more!

Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:

On tap for today's episode, Cody Rhodes is set to kick off the show with a promo. There's always a chance that leads to some physicality and a match scheduled for later on, even though John Cena's not set to appear, so if it does happen, it will involve some other random people. Maybe Kevin Owens and Randy Orton?

There will be a contract signing between CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins for their Triple Threat match at WrestleMania. Speculation points to some stipulation or added element to it as the newsworthy topic, as Punk had teased that there's something he's looking to get out of it. Could it become a No. 1 contender's match?

LA Knight will defend the United States Championship against Braun Strowman, following The Monster of All Monsters beating Jacob Fatu by disqualification last week. I'd be shocked if this match ends with a clean finish. More than likely, Fatu and Solo Sikoa (and Tama Tonga) will interfere and cause another disqualification. Watch it even turn into a tag team match after just to kill some time.

Speaking of tag team matches, the tag titles are on the line with UK boys Pretty Deadly going up against The Street Profits. There's a definite chance the belts change hands, but with the division in as much chaos as it's been, seeing #DIY interfere to cost Kit Wilson and Elton Prince and garner a lot of heat from the London crowd is probably what WWE will do.

Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - March 28, 2025:

  • Cody Rhodes started the show, addressing how on Raw, he'll be face-to-face again with John Cena. Randy Orton came out to praise Rhodes heavily, but also say that eventually, he'll try to challenge Cody for the title. He's just not going to do it in an underhanded way. Drew McIntyre then interrupted, whined about how he should be in the title scene, and escaped an RKO attempt. He'll face Orton later on the show.
  • WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (c) defeated Pretty Deadly by pinfall.
  • The Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre and Piper Niven) defeated Kayden Carter and Katana Chance by pinfall. The Green Regime also beat down Zelina Vega after the match.
  • Jacob Fatu interfered in the United States Championship match between LA Knight and Braun Strowman, causing a disqualification finish.
  • Backstage, Jimmy Uso hyped his Raw match with Gunther and got into a verbal spat with The Miz and Carmelo Hayes, leading to Jimmy challenging The Miz to a match.
  • After the commercial break, another backstage segment aired with Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga talking to Jacob Fatu. More tension between them, as Fatu said he's going to be the last man standing with Braun Strowman and win the United States title and bring it back to the family, with or without Solo Sikoa.
  • Naomi had a vignette talking about how she's tired of being too nice and pushed aside, as she's always been doing the right thing, including when she attacked Jade Cargill. She advises Cargill to "proceed with caution" going forward. After that, backstage, Nick Aldis was talking to Cargill, who wants a piece of Naomi, but Aldis says she's not here. B-Fab and Michin then approached Cargill to say they have her back, what Naomi did was uncalled for, and that they have their own issues to take care of with Charlotte Flair, but they know Cargill's going to handle Naomi.
  • Charlotte Flair vs Michin was scheduled to take place, but Naomi attacked B-Fab and Naomi before Flair even came out. Jade Cargill then ran down to the ring to go after Naomi, who ran off before Cargill could get her hands on her. B-Fab was helped to the back by Cargill and some officials. There was a moment with Cargill and Flair staring at each other during Flair's entrance.
  • Charlotte Flair defeated Michin by submission.
  • Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton by pinfall in part due to a distraction from Kevin Owens. After the match, Orton tried to punt Owens, but KO ran off.
  • Jimmy Uso defeated The Miz by pinfall.
  • In the contract signing with CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns, after they all verbally bashed each other, Paul Heyman assured Punk that he's getting his wish in the contract about how this will main event the first night of WrestleMania 41, which greatly upsets Rollins, as he thinks it's too sacred and Punk doesn't deserve to have that honor. Roman thinks Punk should thank him, as it's because of him that they're the main event. Punk does so, but then reveals to end the show that this is not actually the favor he's owed.
