Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown (October 3, 2025) emanates out of the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio and will air at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.

This post here will be updated frequently throughout the night to reflect live coverage of Friday Night SmackDown, including all the match results, rundowns of the promos, and any other interesting or noteworthy things that take place. Keep refreshing for updates to find out all the winners and more!

Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:

On tap for tonight's episode, Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton will team up against the Brons after their confrontation last week. The American Nightmare and The Viper up against The Vision is likely setting up WarGames for Survivor Series, so do not be surprised by an appearance from Seth "Freakin'" Rollins to interfere and cost Rhodes the match as part of the build to their Crown Jewel Championship match coming up soon.

Speaking of WWE Crown Jewel, Tiffany Stratton is being advertised for what is essentially a promo segment where she'll talk about how she has her upcoming match against Stephanie Vaquer. This could lead to a match of some kind, but for now, she's just listed as "setting her sights" on La Primera, meaning it could be as simple as a video package, interview segment, or a vignette.

Sami Zayn will have another one of his open challenges where he'll put the WWE Men's United States Championship up for grabs. Though they've taken to announcing some of those opponents ahead of time, this one will be another surprise, like Je'Von Evans had been.

We also don't know who Damian Priest will be wrestling, as he's just advertised to be "in action", but since it isn't being promoted ahead of time, my guess is this is not Aleister Black (which will likely be on some Saturday Night's Main Event or Crown Jewel or something). It'll likely be Priest squashing Kit Wilson.

All that and more will go down tonight, so keep checking and refreshing for the most up-to-date results!

Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - October 3, 2025:

  • The show opened with a promo segment between The Vision's Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed threatening Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton ahead of their tag team main event.
  • The Miz and Carmelo Hayes had an argument backstage. As a result, when Hayes went out to try to challenge Sami Zayn in his open challenge for the Men's United States Championship, The Miz attacked him from behind with a Skull Crushing Finale. Capitalizing on the downed challenger, Aleister Black took the match instead.
  • United States Championship Open Challenge: Sami Zayn (c) retained over Aleister Black by pinfall. Damian Priest had come out and caused a distraction. After the match, Priest gave Black a Razor's Edge through the commentary table.
  • It was shown that earlier today, Sol Ruca and ZARIA were approached by Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, who are still looking to recruit someone to step in for Piper Niven. ZaRuca rejected being part of The Secret Hervice, and after an argument, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis booked a tag match.
  • ZaRuca (Sol Ruca and ZARIA) defeated The Green Regime (Alba Fyre and Chelsea Green) by pinfall. Ruca and Zaria got some praise from the tag team champions (Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair) after the match in a backstage interview.
  • Tiffany Stratton and Stephanie Vaquer had a contract signing for their Crown Jewel match. Giulia and Kiana James interrupted. James offered Vaquer her services after they attacked Stratton, who then went back on the attack and teamed with Vaquer to take out the heels.
  • Earlier today, Nick Aldis spoke to Je'Von Evans about how he has his eyes on him after that match with Sami Zayn last week. Rey Fenix then praised Evans as well, saying he wants to see what they could do together. Los Garza then interrupted to talk smack, leading to a tag match.
  • Je'Von Evans and Rey Fenix defeated Los Garza (Angel and Berto) by pinfall.
  • MFT spotlight on Talla Tonga. Solo Sikoa seems to want to bring in another member.
  • The Street Profits were interviewed about their tag title match for next week. The Wyatt Sicks appeared on the screen behind them for a promo to get in their heads.
  • The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed) defeated Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton by pinfall with some help from Seth Rollins interfering.
